Early Access Review
Imagine a mashup between Prison Architect and Fallout. This is it. For those who remember Firefly, imagine if that ship was destroyed and the survivors stuck on a random world - this is it.

I have had this for quite a long time prior to the Steam release and whilst I understand people having an aversion to Greenlight, this is one game that has (so far) been supported very well with regular updates and clear communication. From what I have seen, Ludeon Studios is responsive to suggestions and works hard to better this game.

I highly recommend this game for anyone into base building, especially those with a hidden trait towards turtling up and perfecting their base.

There is a lot of scope to further enhance this game but I have confidence that this will be done. With the inclusion of the workshop I see this as not too much of a concern either way.

It's is pretty open. You manage a small band of survivors, but can capture/convert/harvest/etc raiders or pretty much anyone.

The characters are modelled in quite a lot of detail and can suffer all manner of injuries and ailments, both physical and mental.

There are several 'story-teller' AIs that govern the type, rate and severity of what affects your colony.

Learning the tricks of designing a working colony can be quite in-depth. For instance creating a walk in freezer for perishable products is key, as is managing heat exposure in general.

There are some good DLC but this game really shines through it's mods.

OMG, sounds so cool! Prison Architect is my jam. I'm gonna have to check this out! Is it like a prison with raiders? Or is it more about building your own fallout shelter?
