My 87 og Edge Transits are un-sunset 10/10. Aside from that, quite a turnaround from the stinker that was Lightfall, servers getting pounded day one aside. With a far more interesting story with some actual stakes and that actually gets somewhere, you could've told me this would be the end of Destiny entirely and it would've (minus a lose end or two) been a conclusion that worked for me.

Without getting into specifics, it was a shame Lance Reddick wasn't here to work with probably Zavala's most important story yet, but Keith David does a great job being close to Reddick, but putting his own spin on it. On a similar note, I appreciate that Cayde's return here didn't seem like a "bring back a marketable character" as a gimmick. His presence here served big purposes, and it was nice to get Nathan Fillion back.

Overall, while the expansion maybe doesn't overhaul the gameplay with features like Forsaken did, (though again, does undo weapon sunsetting) I'd say from a narrative perspective alone it tops it easily, with the Pale Heart being a surreal and interesting location, and is easily my favorite story of Destiny that's come out. The only question though, is where you could possibly go from here?
