To say Outer Wilds is a great game would be an understatement. This game is a masterful display of level design, world building, world exploration and storytelling in every level.

Anything I mention about this game could ruin your enjoyment of it, so I will keep this review spoiler free. As with the right information, in less than 20 minutes, the game can be completed. However, you will need 20+ hours to find out what you need to do to get there.

Many have referred to this game as a "Knowledge Metroidvania", as the game gives you everything you need from the beginning, but it is up to the player to find out how to use the tools they have to further understand the game world.
The exploration in this game is some of the best I have ever experienced. It never felt overwhelming, despite taking place in a whole solar system. Your path through this world will be your own, different from mine and everyone else that played it, making you feel like it is truly your adventure.

The music gives it a sense of wonder at all times, and many times the game uses music to create tense or emotional moments wonderfully. Many times I just stood still to enjoy the music and the view, especially during a specific moment in the game involving a certain blue light (see? spoiler free).

By the time I was finishing the game, I was equally as confused as I was curious. And finally, after finding all the answers, I was met with a feeling of fear and hopefulness. It made me think of stuff I never expected to in a videogame, and it's ending still sticks with me to this day.

The game is probably not very replayable, as once you have the information you need, the game is easy to end. However, there is a DLC I have not tried yet that probably adds some replay value to the base game.

I am not good enough at English to be able to properly express how many thing this game made me experiment during my playtime. So what I can say, is that you should definitely try it.

If given the chance, I would like to go into this game blind again to re-live the wonderful experience Outer Wilds was. I will be trying the DLC very soon!

It is hard to describe Gris as a game.

The game takes you through the process of the duel, due to the loss of a loved one. The artstyle is gorgeous, and it captures you in this world of wonder that it presents. But above all, the music managed to convey all the feelings the main character is feeling as she moves forward.

Finishing this game made me feel like no other ever has. The combination of the visuals and the music during the finale made me feel sad, happy, hopeful and amazed all at once. It is a feeling I relive every time I listen to the soundtrack.

Even if it is not a challenging game, it doesn't have to be. It is a journey through a wonderful world that slowly regains it's color, and it masterfully takes you through an emotional ride from beginning to end.

This game helped me deal with the loss of loved ones recently, and I wanted to return to leave it the review it deserves.

Gris is a wonderful game that deserves to be played by everyone. It truly shows how games are capable of becoming true pieces of art.

Beautiful game.

Breathtaking art style, delightful music, comfortable and precise controls, terrifying yet intriguing world, memorable characters, incredible bosses, excellent progression, fascinating lore and story, and of course, incredibly fun, challenging and enjoyable. DLCs added an extra layer of fun that is optional and is intended for the more intense players, and they are completely free!

Few games have managed to leave such an impact on me to the point where I have persuaded my friends to play it, even if it means I had to gift it to them. I bought this game 4 times total (bought it for two friends, for my switch and a collectors edition for pc) and never regretted doing so.

The developers truly cared to do it the best they could, and over delivered with this beautiful masterpiece.

I will be coming back for their next game, hungry for more.

Don't waste half a second on this game.

Unbalanced, broken, buggy and overall stopped being fun after not that many games. Played it with a friend, and only kept playing it because playing it together was kinda fun.

The game starts kind of fun, is easy to learn and it looks like a good time to play with friends. But as soon as you play for a little longer you realize how stupidly terrible it can be.

After a few days every match was unbalanced in some way. Either the enemy team just installed the game and has to face people that played for way longer. Or we would get paired against much higher ranked players with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ traffic cone as a third teammate.

The only maps that are fun are the ones without ♥♥♥♥ that basically insta-kill you (I'm looking at you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Rasmus players), or maps that have some big-brain gimmick, like the portals or the black hole. Every other map has some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that one or two specific characters can exploit by camping them or simply by pressing one key (still looking at you Rasmus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥).

Characters are constantly patched to be as broken and annoying as possible. Characters stunning you for a long time in fast-paced matches, walls/barriers occupying half the damn map, a damn teleport to go back to the goal because risking leaving it does not matter at all apparently, and characters that can keep hitting you like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ monkeys all the time because their cool-downs are ridiculous.

You can tell this ♥♥♥♥ is programmed by ex-League of Legends developers, because they have no clue what they are doing. And instead of making the slightest attempt to make it fun, they add ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to yet ANOTHER battlepass ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to make people pay, and they make more and more skins with splash art to make weebs masturbate to them.

Gave it way too many tries to be fun. Only every once in a while you get a game where the match is tied, all players are trying to play the best they can, and even when losing you can appreciate how fun it was. But this game is not like that for 90% of the time you play. Matches feel boring or frustrating nearly every time, having to deal with insanely good players constantly spamming you with their rank (which is always WAY higher than yours) or with a teammate that leaves after losing one round/stops trying and just scores goals against their own teammates to end the match quickly.

There are way too many good games out there to spend it playing a game that does not try to be fun to most of their players. I really enjoyed this game when I started and is the only game I could share with this friend of mine, and still, I'd rather not play with my friend ever again than play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game one more time. It sucks, it's broken, it's boring and it does not deserve your time. It could have been fun and instead it ended like any other stupid battle-pass centered game. It takes a quick look to realize how much effort goes into making cosmetic effects for in-game purchase than into making the game fun or entertainingly challenging.

Uninstalling for good. The idea was great, the execution was not, and the result is awful.
