Counter-Strike 2 continues the tradition of the series, offering players the same exciting gameplay where two teams fight each other in different game modes. However, despite all the innovations, the game failed to meet the expectations of many players.
The graphics in the game leave much to be desired. Yes, it looks better than in the original, but still falls short of modern standards. The character and weapon models look detailed, but the surroundings and textures leave much to be desired.
I think it's not worth talking about a huge number of bugs, crashes and random micro-freezes out of the blue, although the developers have already released
many patches, but the situation has not really improved.

As for the gameplay, there are drawbacks here too. The points system that was added to the game or just a pathetic attempt to copy and replace FACEIT turned out to be surprisingly unsuccessful, mainly due to the scatter of these very points, boosters and cheaters.
Playing for 15,000 points, playing with 10,000 in a team is not very pleasant, especially when the opponent has all 15,000.

Shooting is generally a separate joke, the saber system in CS2 has caused a lot of controversy and disagreement among players. Despite the fact that it was introduced in order to improve the accuracy of long-range shooting and registration, many players believe that it introduces an imbalance into the game.
Firstly, the saber system requires players to take a completely different approach to shooting. Instead of just pulling the trigger and expecting to be hit, players now have to take into account the bullet's flight time and make adjustments to their shooting. This can be difficult for beginners and those who are used to the old shooting mechanics.
Secondly, the sabtic system can negatively affect the gameplay for some players. If a player shoots at long range and misses the target, it may be difficult for him to determine whether it was his mistake or whether it is due to the new shooting mechanics. This can lead to frustration and loss of motivation among players.
Thirdly, the sabtic system can also change the dynamics of the game. If one team has an advantage over long distances thanks to this system, then the other team may be at a disadvantage. This can create unequal conditions for both teams and lead to the fact that one team will constantly win because of this, for example, terrarists began to fight more often on the mirage, which negatively affects the overall impression of the game. New ones have also been added'The 'old' game modes, but they are not all equally interesting and exciting.

Despite all the flaws, Counter-Strike 2 remains a popular game among fans of the series. If you are familiar with the previous parts and love their gameplay, then the sequel may be interesting for you. However, if you have never played Counter-Strike before, then it may be worth waiting for the developers to make more improvements and fixes to the game.
