Despite turn based fights, this is still RGG with it's all seriousness, drama, bizarre substories and minigames

Humble. And it's great. Hunt finally feels like Hunt: no pacts, only a few new traits around the bayou. New weapon variants are fine, but their prices should be tweaked a little. Nothing game breaking and OP.

Skins look great and in the style of Hunt with jank and voodoo we all love and they are not causing fomo, you don't feel like you have to grind through this event for something, you can finally play for fun with variety against variety, not same one pact and loady each and every week.

Performance is improved in my experience, feels more stable even on Linux+Nvidia, but had to switch to Proton Experiment [bleeding-edge] beta, because out of server errors (all regions were unavailable with 0 m/s).

Overall, the developers did a great work and the most pleasant part was a kilometer long list of bugfixes.


Small event that keeps the core Hunt experience intact. No FOMOs, no one-click win sticks, just good old Hunt: Showdown with a huge amount of fixes and improved performance.
And once again for fellow Linux users- switch to the bleeding-edge beta version of your Proton Experimental if you have issues with servers.

One of the most enjoyable MMORPGs ever made. You can have a lot of different builds for each role and class for every playstyle. Base game dungeons are pretty easy even on veteran mode, but dlc ones are challenging. Main story quest is fine, but side quests and chapters are much more interesting. If you're not into MMOs, ESO still can be played as a regular RPG.
