Ahh the middle school memories. the thousands upon thousands of hours I used to spend, the friends I would ignore, the homework I wouldn't do, the Newgrounds games I played late at night when everyone else was asleep. Good times.

It's a game. You can buy it. It works.

Well....at least the trailer on the store page was well made.

Ubisoft are outdoing themselves with this one, to the point where it's like they decided to get a competent team to develope something for the first time since RSV2. In the short time that I've played this game I can tell you it's balanced, fair, and overall smooth. Being a Rainbow Six fan for a long time, I was a little skeptical of the destruction gimmick but they've got it down fairly nicely to the point where it's not too worrying, and a team of people who know how to set up defenses can hold back any infiltrations.


Now this could just be my experience, but there was a game I played where the game started and as we are using our drones to search a building, "******* Has been banned by FairFight" Popped up on my screen. This was before the game even started. and then about a minute later, another one was banned. Good on ya Ubisoft. Good on ya.



The Hero system works nicely to a certain degree. It's nice to have heroes with specific abilities, but why lock them to 2 or 3 guns and only those guns? Open up the armory like with the recruit class. The Famas for instance, is only usable by Twitch, a useless hero character with no worth, I've seen one twitch in the 10-15 games I've played, and that was only for one round where I assume the guy was just testing her out and put her down right after.


The customization is ♥♥♥♥. If you've seen gameplay or screenshots where the user had skins on their gun, well, there are skins in the game, but they are all terribly hideous. The worst part is, they are insanely expensive. You want that sweet, sweet, AmeriFlauge? The three cans of spray paint so you can paint the French flag on your gun? Well you can. For $5 USD a gun, or if you want to by the bundle and get the skin for all the guns of the country who uses them, about $20 USD. "Now wait a minute friendarino!" I hear you interrupt, "CSGO Skins range anywhere from two cents to $600USD Steam Marketplace Value!" Well yes, that's Steam Marketplace. This is Microtransaction, Microtransaction in which there is no random drops. You play a multiplayer game, you get about 100 in-game credits, you play another, and grind in a "Rinse, Wash, Repeat" method. Or you can play Terrorist Hunt and get about 80 credits or so. And the skins you can purchase with these in-game credits, are going to set you back about 15,000 credits. And the hats that are available for your favorite hero, will also cost either $5 USD, or 13,000 - 30,000 credits. Then we have Charms. What are Charms you ask? Well sadly I'm not talking about the Blow-Pop company. These are keychains. Keychains for your gun. There are 3 bundles for charms to use with all guns. Here's a chart to summarize it.

$95 USD for digital ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ keychains. Now of course I realise this is optional. You aren't forced to spend this money, but there are people who will, and this is just a fair warning before they start spending without realizing.


All in all, if you don't plan to spend money for the micrtransactions in this game, It honestly, really is a good, fun game. Just stay away from the Store page and you'll be fine.

It is now the end of October, and we have finally received our update. The game should be playable now, hopefully, but, here's the problem. I beat the game the week of release, and put it down even faster just because I was waiting for the dlc to make the game a little more entertaining. Today, October 28th, I got on the game after seeing the game is back on the store and has DLC listings, just to find that the Season Pass was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lie and a sham. DO NOT PURCHASE THE PASS. I can 100% Guarantee you WILL NOT recieve any DLC for purchasing it. Not only does it say I don't own the new DLC on the games page in my library, when I started the game, and proceeded to browse the DLC section in game in the extras menu, just to see that the only DLC I own is the very DLC I got on release day. Thanks WB. You guys are too good to me. You know how I want to throw money in the shredder.

Star Wars: Dark Forces - The Doom Wars

No seriously just buy Doom. This is Doom. This is Doom with Star Wars Skins. Unless you like twiddling your lightsabers, You big dumb nerds, Buy this.

Pretty good demo. I like that I bought an E3 Trailer for Phantom Pain.

It's like Fallout in Russia.....but better. with a handful of happenings with the anomalies, emmisions, and creatures/mutants actually roaming the lands, and of course you can't forget the artifacts that add a little something different to the mix, there's never a dull moment. this game is great for fans of the sci-fi/apocalyptica genres with a little piece of survival horror in some sections. i'd highly recommend this game if you're looking for something new to take a break from the other games you may play a hundred hours a week of. also if you ever catch this game on sale, don't pass it up. i've had this game on my wishlist for a good three years, and not once has it gone on sale until October 7th.
