Every person, no matter who they are, or what they've done, deserves their life. They deserve happiness, they deserve a second chance, they deserve family, and they deserve love. Always keep this in mind, that the people around you, and the people you affect, they are all PEOPLE, living breathing beings, beautiful and wonderful in each and every way. They deserve a life, so don't be the one to take any aspect of it from them, be it love, family, a chance, happiness, or anything else. The exception is those who've done so much ill that they lost claim to their humanity.

When the skies grow dark, and the hand of Fate seems turned against you, remember the good times. Think of the people you love. Smile in recollection of all your happy memories. With these things to propel you forward, walk knowing that the hardships will end, the sun will come out again, and the pain will fade. And when you find someone else stuck and lost in their own darkness, give them your hand and help them to their feet. Offer them a smile and the touch of kindness, that they may see their own clear skies once more, or perhaps for the first time.

Everyone puts on a mask at some point in their life. Some people wear it as little as possible, some wear it full-time. Some use it to fit in, some use it to push away. Some hate their mask, carrying it as a burden. Some cherish their mask, using it to hide their burdens. Across everyone, only one thing remains the same: you can't let your mask strangle who you are. No matter why, when, or how you wear it, remember to take it off and let your true self shine for who you are every once in a while. Even if you think you don't shine, it's only because your eyes don't see it the right way. Maybe not you, but someone will recognize the glow and show you your innate beauty. The only thing standing between that recognition and your inner light, is the mask it hides beneath.
