Better than Hotline Miami

Amazing soundtrack.

Buggy as ♥♥♥♥. Every 2-3 minutes mid game my input freezes and it will continue to do the last input I gave (f.e. shooting 2 whole mags dry, strafing to the right) for around 20 seconds. The amount of times I have been killed just by that in the 40 minutes I have played made me quit.

People this game got made by not one, not two, but four ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ studios.

Also the weapon variety is really lacking compared to other Battlefields. Trust me I really want to love this game but this is unacceptable. If this game got made by DICE alone and we didn't have the gap between Battlefield V and 2042 I would have been mad still but atleast I would have understood where, why, how it went wrong. But now I'm just baffled.

An absolute masterpiece. One of if not the best FPS of all time.

I don't usually write reviews publicly, but this game deserves it. I've beaten it about 15 minutes ago and my heart is still racing, this game pulls you in and doesn't let you go. From the monster design, to the lore, to the gunplay it's all just top notch.

There's only one problem that I have with this game and that's how this game starts. If you want to go into this game completely blind skip this part (also spoilers for DOOM 2016).So, you're still here. The problem I have is how this game starts, I was a big fan of DOOM 2016 and I couldn't wait to see what happened next after the cliffhanger of Samuel Hayden stealing the Crucible from the Slayer and leaving him chained on Mars or maybe sending him back to hell. Imagine my disappointment when the game started with the Slayer already in the Fortress of Doom and not hearing anything about Dr. Hayden until like halfway through the game. It's a small nitpick in my eyes but one nonetheless.

Even with that little problem, I still had the time of my life with this game and I will never forget the amount of fun and adrenaline I got from this adventure.

P.S. You're gonna hate Marauders.

Still one of the best games ever made.

Even after replaying it 5 times on console and PC combined.
