A competent tactical wargame that really nails the atmosphere. The AdMech tends to be presented very superficially, but in Mechanicus you get shown a full gamut of their differing perspectives and various levels of machine-integration. Haven't seen that since Abnett's Titanicus novel.

Path of Exile is the best way to slaughter thousands of things and take their stuff since Diablo II. Lots of options in the strategic space give a real sense of progression and satisfaction when you get your build to click... unless you just copied someone's build from the forums, which still has a decent bit of that because the game's fun regardless. It also helps that the devs are responsive, involved, and just generally seem like decent people.
