Ever wondered what it would be like to turn into an animal, live your life by the docks to fish all day, with a cold one in your hand and nothing bothering you but the sounds of the water? Well that first thing sort of depends, but this is that good life you could be enjoying if you play this game.

A great example of what it looks like when a company deeply cares about the game they are remaking. A perfect way to relive the first two Tony Hawk games in the modern day. The dream now is to get something like this but for Underground. Also, give us THPS3 DLC now.

For what it is after my amount of time playing and all the things OVERKILL has been through, this is honestly a great game at heart. Definitely get this game with all the DLC when it goes on sale. There is just too much you would miss out on by only getting the base game. More DLC is currently being released to support the development and eventual delivery for Payday 3.

There is also a ton of mod support for this game from fixing bugs that they skipped over (although devs are still updating the game and fixing a lot of them), quality of life changes to make playing the game so much smoother, and replacing textures with wacky modifications. The only downside really in my opinion is the engine that this game runs on. You'll really know how outdated and buggy it gets sometimes when you feel it after playing. Again, like I said, modding the game helps out a ton.

Very fun and relaxing game! I managed to get the last achievement for collecting every single item in the game and I don't regret my time doing it. This really is just a classic that I think many people should check out, especially when it goes on sale. Let's hope they add the later titles to Steam some day.

EDIT: Now go buy the sequel too.

Great platformer, cute characters, and satisfying story.
The real question is, where is this kid's parents?

EDIT 6/22/2017: Dev's removed previous achievements and added a huge amount pointless achivements. The previous achievements were based on completing the levels and the whole game. You felt proud of earning those achievements on how annoying the levels were. Now it's trash. I only now recommend the game if you wanna waste time and if it goes on sale. Don't buy it. Spend your money somewhere else.

Original review:
My amount of time was first spent just farming the game for trading cards until the achievements were added to the game, so I decided to go for all of them. I ended up getting all the achievements right before this review.

This game in a whole can be really frustrating. Pass level 40~ can become really challenging if you haven't learned how to control the ball you're playing as. Level 50 is something that I thought I could never complete for a while. I have a screenshot on the level where you need to pass spikes that are on top and on the bottom of a pathway and there is no other way to go about it. This really had me stumped but I was able to complete it.

On to whether this game is recommended or not, it is debatable. For one, the game at this time is only about $0.50, so it's worth the try there. At it's full $4, I'm not entirely sure. There are better games out there for that much. As I said earlier, the game gets more challenging after about level 35 or so. If you have the spare time, and would like a challenge, I would definitly buy it. The one con I have about this game is the control of the photon/ball you are controlling. The movement speed of it can really put you at a disadvantage and can mess you up at the timings of when you move. The higher the levels, the more precise you need to be of when to move. This is something I highly recommend you focus on throughout the game.

For the sake of it, I do recommend the game. It can make you get angry, annoyed and rage, but that isn't a reason to give it a negative review. You will need the patience to complete the game.

Also, the story is interesting but does not become memorable and irrelevent throughout because most of your focus goes into the actual game itself.

Overall: 6.7/10

Strangely enough, this was a really fun game. The first hour and a half of playing this was really enjoyable, but then decided to see if I was able to beat the game in one sitting.

I played this with my friend on co-op mode so the Days went by a bit easier than what I would think trying to beat all 100 days playing solo. For the past six hours (and only six hours as I will never touch this game again), we went through what was the most grindful game I've completed.

I have unlocked all the achievements in the amount I have played. The only hard one to get is probably the FrankenBoar's Monsters achievement. I would say do this one on the first day as that would be the easiest way to get it. All the other achievements are pretty self explainatory and can be easily acquired throughout playing the game.

Through the first 30 days, you can see what the rest of the 70 days will consist of, as the game tends to repeat the same monsters and pigs again and again. It reminds of a simple hack-n-slash game with repeating enemies, so this didn't bother me as much as it would to someone else. Day 100 is the most fufilling day to complete. The final level contains all the bosses together with Princess being the biggest, fattest pig ever out of the whole game and with all 3 of the giant boars at the same time. Not only was this the most hardest and intense level in the entire game, it was the best way to end the game. As earlier, I would highly recommend playing with someone else on this game, especially if you are planning to get all the achievements.

There is one easter egg that caught my attention which was when you are inside the barn, there is an attic part of the building above with a sunshine painting on the very far end of the wall. When shot at, the farmer sings the chorus of "Stressed Out" by twenty one pilots. Since I'm a huge fan of the band, this really put a smile on my face.

Overall 7.7/10

Literally one of the very first animes I have watched.
Now I'm playing the game for the first time.
This can't get any better.
