Repetitive, not interesting, gameplay lacks thought and creativity.

I've only played an hour and it's enough to realize that the meta of this game is:
Setup killing field
Backpedal to secure kills
advance and capture all objectives once the entire enemy force is dead

I cannot recommend this game given the current state of the in-game economy. If you're a new player considering getting this game, understand that you won't be able to get to modern vehicles without paying money, and even in doing so, it take a tremendous amount of time.

This is the game that gets me to keep coming back to VR. It is simple enough for new players to pick up, as well as complicated enough that players who want something more will enjoy it. This is a must-have VR title

Overall the game has been great. It managed to recapture that classic Halo feeling while improving movement and gun play. Nearly finished the campaign at the moment and have been happy with it's execution with only one major criticism, that being boss fights. There are far too many boss fights in this game and they are very, very boring, as well as obnoxious at times. One boss fight even occurs twice, the fight and boss is exactly the same. The number of boss fights is seriously burning me out when playing the campaign, after doing 2 or 3 of them I have to take a break, they're just so boring and such a pain to get through.

I drop into Icarus, I think "alright, this is the tutorial mission so it can't be too hard", night falls and I'm rendered blind, get mauled to death by wolves. Next morning, I begin to get my bearings and then am mauled to death by more wolves. Several in-game days later, I'm finally getting gud, wolves aren't much of a hassle anymore, I venture out from my little camp in search of my obje- bear attack. So I decide to purchase bait the game for a friend. We play together, after much struggle, we're doing great, balancing our talents and tech research together, feel as though we've conquered the forest.

Now we're confident, the game has become pretty easy, wolves and bears are easy to dispatch, weather is no concern anymore, we're ready to venture into the snow and keep our success going. So we prepare to venture into the glacial biome, stop less than 100 feet into it, try to not freeze to death in a small shelter with a couple of fires going, and in a way we succeed.....because we were mauled to death by a polar bear.

The only missing part from the original experience is picking the game up from a BlockBuster

So the game has a lot going for it, but it gets very stale, very quick, and the single greatest reason as to why I don't recommend this game is due to how dead it feels / how much down time there is.

Graphically the game is great, didn't encounter any bugs in my time playing, writing is pretty alright, some of the jokes are pretty funny, basebuilding is pretty alright, tools break too quickly imo, etc, but the enormous amount of time that is wasted moving from point A to point B with nothing happening in between makes the game feel incredibly boring, so if you want to get around that I'd suggest setting up a keybind to go straight and watching a show/podcast or something while playing or you'll get burned out pretty quick.

People compare this game to Subnautica, which is why I picked it up, but Subnautica has a lot going on and can keep you engaged when traveling between two points on its map, and the exploration is deep and interesting, Breathedge fails to achieve this. It's not a bad game, but this one flaw it has needs to be addressed for it to be enjoyable

A fantastic collection of the Halo games. They play just like I remember them, glad to see them finally make their way to Steam. Whether your an experienced Halo player or a beginner looking for something new, this collection does not disappoint.

XCOM: Chimera Squad is not a bad game, but it pales in comparison to the other games. Personally, I found the game to be boring, felt like it played on rails, and found much of the dialogue/story to be disinteresting/annoying. I couldn't help but feel like this was a poor shot at an XCOM game with too heavy an influence from any generic wannabe funny police show.
