Before you buy this game you need to consult the benchmark tool especially if you have a lower end system as there is a fair chance you may not be able to run this game at whatever settings you want. This is doubly so if you have a lower end system as there is a chance you will not be able to run this game at all. If you do not consult the tool and buy this anyway and have technical and performance issues than that is on you. Review bombing this game just because you were to lazy to consult the tool is just being an ass. They provide this tool for free and they were under no obligation to do so.

I personally am quite enjoying wilds. I am personally in post game (HR 24). No idea how far in I am at the time of writing this. I have very much enjoyed playing this game through. I can't speak much on the state of multiplayer as I am choosing to play the game solo my first time through to get the full solo experience as I did with World. In the performance department this game will definitely need some work over time. From what I have been told about the launch of World, Wilds has just about as bad performance as World did when it launched. I personally have had no performance issues or technical issues such as crashes or driver incompatibility issues, but a lot of people including many I know personally have had such issues. I do have a very powerful system and the resource usage on it is nothing compared to other performance demanding releases in recent times. (Looking at you ASA.) The technical issues will resolve themselves with time so we will have to be patient for the driver makers to fix the driver issues and Capcom to address other technical issues such as the server issues. To be honest many who experienced the launch of world were expecting server issues as Capcom's servers are known to be garbage on a good day so this came as no surprise.

Game play wise Wilds has been a blast for me personally. The many changes to the weapons have been extremely fun to explore. The way that many weapons feel so much more fluid now is also very nice. I won't disagree with the fact that low rank was easy, but it may feel much easier due to how challenging post game Iceborne was in World and so many may be used to that level of difficulty. Personally I have no issue with the main story being not that difficult in this game as I was personally very invested in the story and enjoyed it quite a lot. Are there a lot of cut scenes? Yes. Are there some slow walking sequences that can't be skipped? Yes. I personally didn't have an issue with any of these things as in my view it helps a lot with the story that Capcom was trying to tell. I love all the work and care that went into the world building of this game and those who want to just breeze past all of the dialog and love and care that was put into this game should learn to slow down and smell the roses. That is no reason to review bomb this game. And besides Capcom will provide us with plenty of difficulty over time with this game as the post game is definitely harder than main story. We will also have title updates that are bound to be difficult as well.

Its a very fun game. It's very buggy, but I am willing to give the studio a pass due to their IRL situation.

When it was announced that this was getting ported to PC with full voice acting I was pleasantly surprised. I never got a chance to play the original on the 3ds since it wasn't easily available in the west. Its definitely a more simple game compared to the sequel, but that in no way makes it bad. Quite and enjoyable game to play in the free time.

Updated post review divers.

This game is amazing. Other than the review divers incident it has been a joy to log in and play. It is a buggy game at times yes. Though it is such a breathe of fresh air having this gem of a game amidst the sea of trash that modern gaming tends to be.

If you like DND and CRPGS then this game is for you. Almost everything in this game is a 10/10.

Early Access Review
I am personally quite enjoying ASA. I mostly play single player or on a friend group server so I personally haven't been experiencing a lot of the server issues that have been happening. These things are to be expected with a Wildcard release.

The game looks amazing and I am lucky enough to have a system more than powerful enough to run it on max graphics settings if I want to. (Though I don't run it on max settings since it makes my room get way to warm) If you don't have a system with at least a 1050ti and 16 gigs of ram I would recommend you wait a bit on buying this since your potato machine likely will struggle a lot running this game since it is a very demanding game even on the lowest settings.

Load times are far better in ASA than ASE. I can get in and out of my would far faster than I would in ASE which is very nice. From my few hours of playing so far it seems the game is already far more stable than ASE ever was, and we all can hope we can get some optimization patches for those who do not have very powerful systems like I do. I haven't crashed once while playing. (Which is a big deal since ASE was and is notorious for how much it crashed.) Though admittedly I do only have a few hours in-game at time of writing due to IRL time constraints so we shall see how stable the game truly is after I put a few hundred hours into the game.

In the end I personally have no issue with supporting Wildcard again since a far more stable Ark experience will be great for me. Many people are still complaining about things said in the past by Wildcard and in the end what these people need to remember is Wildcard is a business and they need to fund their projects. If that means I had to buy the game again oh well since it is already a far better experience for me personally than ASE ever was. (And what is even better most of the people complaining are still going to buy the game anyway since they are also ARK addicts.)
