Theres lots of glitches and its not optimized. However, there is A LOT of fun to be had. Its one of the most engaging rpg's ive ever played, the most interesting characters, a believable living city with tons of unique conversations to listen in on, amazing flavor text. Think Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but better. On a cool note: I did a side mission that ended up giving me a dialogue option in a main story mission. There is TONS of details, and your decisions seem to actually matter quite a bit. TONS OF PERKS, amazing leveling system.. Its fun as hell just in a terrible condition atm. Its a gem for sure.

I got this game for $12 on sale, so keep that in mind. I've been really enjoying the game so far, I would say 90% of my limited game time has been multiplayer and it's been a blast. You aren't the un-killable machine a lot of people would have wanted you to be, but that's necessary for balancing. However there are times where you die in ways you feel like you couldn't have prevented no matter what, but if you have the right squad put together, with at least one apothecary and one chaplan, death isn't the biggest deal. Where the game truly shines is the immaculate detail put into every single nook and cranny imaginable. Every piece of your weapons, armor, and the space hulk itself look absolutely amazing. They are some of the most well designed areas not just within the 40k universe, but just in general compared to other games. Exploring the ship doesn't feel like a chore to me, even if you do move at a snails pace, just because every single room has something beautiful to look at. Streum on is a small dev team and what they did with this game is amazing, although most likely held back by Games Workshop in terms of budget. I would highly recommend this game to fans of 40k, but I would suggest waiting for a sale. I will update this review in the future. I am playing this on what would be considered a low end machine: 750, i3, 8 gigs of ram, the game runs well, but not perfectly. I'm not getting a stable 60 fps nearly ever but it is extremely playable. If I lowered the resolution I would most likely be at 60+ but I enjoy the scenery too much.

This review was positive. No update for a month now. Instead they are doing a competition partnered with the nine club, that's cool on the surface, but the game is in absolutely no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ state for this. Also the developers them selves will be reviewing it, why would they be wasting time on that instead of updating the game? Maybe they want to "build" the community and "connect" with its members more, but you'd be able to do that by fixing the game and adding content. Over a month now, no update. A contest... I just can't recommend anybody buy an early access game that isn't being updated with some frequency. For anybody that recommends this game because of the people modding it, you've missed the point entirely, and if the devs thinks its okay to not update the game because of modders, then you basically ran away with money. Ignore the cultists that praise this game in it's current condition, they just want another skate 3.

Play the game vanilla before asking about mods. I was gifted this game years ago, played it on a machine with windows 7, fine, now windows 8.1 also fine, have't tried windows 10 but I heard it works. Stop asking about mods just play vanilla first. 10/10 game

This is probably the greatest game I have ever played.

If you want Far Cry 3 or 4, this isn't it. It's just not. You won't be able to snap your fingers back into place whenever you lose a bar of hp, you'll probably just die. You aren't supposed to pick up the heaviest gun and shoot everything in sight, sorry. This is a much more intelligent game in every regard. The story is a much more satirical break down of the realities created by capitalism and Western society. The gameplay mechanics are more brutal, which serve further purpose in ways of story telling. It's a game about choices, they aren't presented directly to you, but they are yours for the taking. A lot of fun is to be had for the creative players who like to see their decision making skills work in gameplay. I played this game A LOT on 360 upon the initial release.
