-year 1 pass characters are just reskins of eachother (especially heihachi and lydia)
-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game mechanics for zoomers (heat and rage art) there no need for them they just ruin the game flow
-game favours being ultra aggressive
-adding in mtx a month after release and saying nothing beforehand
-season pass, battle pass, and item shop in a full priced game
-overpriced item shop items
-treats community like ♥♥♥♥
-random crossovers like chipotle and nike while not releasing meaningful content
-game barely has an anti cheat to the point cheaters can reset your entire online ranked progress if you come across them
-inconsistent balancing to the point where meta character was used like at least 80% of the time in tournaments since release (dragunov)


they definitely have the potential to fix this because there is a game with alot of love and passion made under all that ♥♥♥♥ but i would hold off from buying for now (or wait for a sale)

they should actually finish this game instead of releasing an early access update and calling it 1.0 to get the excuse to release dlc without fixing huge issues that have been affecting the game for years like ai and performance. the levels that came with 1.0 sometimes felt completely unfinished as well

game for amazonmaxxers with a storyline written by a schizophrenic

basically a remaster of flatout 1 minus the stunt mode. cars feel very good to drive and to wreck. physics are amazing as well as the maps. just the menu UX could use some improvement (like not allowing to tune your car if there is 20 seconds left for the match to start and general menu slowness) and you should be allowed to enable workshop track mods and still be able to play tournaments/multiplayer
