I'm scratching my head over all the negative reviews. Let's get real, folks – this isn't a AAA game with a sky-high budget and a top-tier dev team. Think of it more as a laid-back, fun game to play solo or with friends. Sure, it looks pretty mid-tier and has its fair share of bugs 🐞, and there’s a lot that could be improved. But a lot of the backlash seems to come from folks who wanted a multiplayer version of DDS1 and are bummed the gameplay took a different route.

DDS2 kicks off super slow 🐌, and some things aren't very intuitive – especially the UI for production. At times, there are too many tasks on screen with not-so-clear instructions, which can be tough and off-putting for casual players. But hang in there! Once you unlock employees, the game gets lively and fun. Even when fully automated, there's always something to do. Unlike DDS1, where delivering 2g to the same guy for the 300th time was a grind, DDS2's automation is a breath of fresh air 😅.

A gripe I have is the early lack of creativity with product production, which was more flexible in DDS1. The map feels too ambitious with a repetitive pattern of unlocking influencers, new islands, and products. It could use more creative questlines, like the heist one with Kira 💰. I’m not at the end yet, so maybe it picks up, but I’m committed to finishing it. Then, I’ll replay it with a friend, tackle mega hardcore mode, and play again because, despite everything, this game is really good. It's worth every penny, regardless of what I paid without checking the price tag 💸.

So, give it a go! Just don't expect a perfect experience right out of the box. But hey, that’s part of the charm, right? 😉

I had high hopes for this game. Runs like ♥♥♥♥ and story is crap.

Just what a fantastic game! Don't get above 60fps but looks impressive at ultra settings. This game alone is going to make me buy an RTX 3080 easily. Love the story even tho I haven't yet fully completed it. Time flys by when playing this! Highly recommend for any gamer out there!

Simply the most enjoyable destruction-focused game out there.

I 100% recommend this game. It's a lot of fun with and without friends. It has so many different activities you can do. Golfing is always super chill and fun. You can go gamble in a casino or go play arcade games. It's a perfect game to chill out in the night on. You meet some odd yet funny people in the game aswell so you'll always get a good laugh. The developers are fantastic. They keep everyone up to date on what they're working on all the time. They show pictures and have a completion chart for what they're working. This game is still in early access so you may find a bug or two but honestly I've never come across anything major or game breaking. You can also subscribe to workshop items and be that character in game. So you can play as anyone or anything you want. For example, I'm subscribed to a lot of meme characters such as a Lightning Mcqueen Croc. Yes, a croc. So yeah overall I recommend this game. It's great fun. It's definitely worth the price because you get so much in game content and they are continually adding more things to do. So it's definitely worth picking up.

Well, the game has a lot of bugs and problems from the get-go. I completed the game, and all unlocks withing 2hrs but here's the good thing about it tho is very addicting!! If this game could add new stuff and fix the major bugs, it would be on my top 30 games of the year list.

Do I recommend it?
Yea, that's if only you can spare the change for the game. If you're going out of your pocket money to get this game, I would rethink on looking at another game.

- Limited control options and no ability to change character rotation to "smooth" instead of that awful snap thing.
- Webs cannot be grabbed with two hands
- There are limits as to where you can go.
- The city itself is pretty ugly.
- Web swinging does not seem to be physics-based.

Great concept. Bad execution.
