An actual good historical game now. Ea-Nasir and his low-quality copper will not go unpunished

Overwatch 2 is a game that sucks the fun out of itself like some sort of self fellatio ouroboros amalgamation. The game as a foundation relies upon on you picking a hero to counter X hero and vice-versa. I personally don't like rock-paper-scissors gameplay but that is entirely subjective. The bigger issues revolve around tone-deaf development such as balancing issues, undelivered promises and the community. The community is probably the worst game community I have had the misfortune of interacting with.

OW1 had 2 tanks, 2 DPS, 2 support. This idea worked well enough outside of certain unavoidable metas. A player who was lagging behind in skill, kills, etc could easily be carried by his team and still be somewhat useful, there was a higher margin for error. OW2 necessitates everyone having equal to greater skill on your team, or else you'll likely end up in a complete wipe. One poor player is that detrimental. The change of 6v6 to 5v5 has completely changed the game to a far more hyper competitive one. Which is fine, if you like that, if matchmaking worked as intended. You will be pitted with far worse players the better you play, so enjoy that catch-22.

You know the game is in shambles when people overwhelmingly prefer having loot boxes as opposed to seasonal passes. The game simply is a worse version of OW1. Whether you like or hate the franchise, the OW was at one point iconic, but due to greed and typical insane corporate mismanagement and demonic influence from people like bobby kotick, it has absolutely zero relevancy outside of a meager fanbase and a total dislike from the internet at large.

A good DLC but not worth full price. You're missing one LL and rest do not have unique faction mechanics as promised.

*Bad matchmaking
*Characters locked behind large amounts of gold you need to grind for
*Massive balancing issues
