The story and all of its minor elements are a masterpiece and you wont be disappointed. Official Rockstar online is bootycheeks. 3rd party online is the way to go if you want this game for online play.

TLDR: Every single one of the selling points the devs make in the store description is delivered to perfection.

An absolute banger from start to finish. The art, soundtrack, gameplay, voice acting, and story are all executed perfectly.

Every single level has multiple approaches from blasting your way through the front door to carefully analyzing the map for secret entrances and pathways. And let me tell you, every single map in the game has multitudes of other pathways to take to include the very first room in the very first level. There are also tons of secret areas scattered in all of them too that contain rewarding weapons caches amongst other things.

Stealth was always optional but for once I actually had quite alot of fun prowling around clueless henchmen on rooftops, through vents, and in the dark shadows. There are ways to distract and lure henchmen and this made for quite a few different moments that felt like they were straight out of an old comic book.

The melee combat is the best I have ever seen in a first person shooter hands down. It has a decent amount of depth to it without being overly complex which makes for a very satisfying experience. You can send foes flying through glass windows or into their comrades which can knock them off of their feet.

The gunplay was also just as satisfying. Sending henchmen flying with the tommy gun and blowing them to smithereens with a sawn off shotgun was straight out of a mobster movie! Oh and once you run out of ammo you can just YEET the empty weapon right into their face.

Speaking of yeeting things. Almost every small to medium sized object in the game (save for consumable items) can be picked up and thrown at the bad guys either to directly inflict damage or to cause a distraction to get them to turn their backs on you.

You will be rewarded over and over again for thinking outside of the box when keeping the game mechanics in mind!

As of right now there is only 1 episode to play through and the game is a bit short due to this fact. That being said the current (full) price-point of $13 is more than reasonable considering the sheer amount of fine detail this game has in it.

Its the city builder where boys become men. It makes every other title in the genre feel like a casual game with its intricate design and simulation even the smallest operations of a city. Its like a logistics tycoon and a city builder at the same time but it spares no details when meshing the two types of games together.

-Manage the logistics of quite literally everything from passengers and cargo to hauling heavy machinery to new build sites.

-Construct the city infrastructure with complex water, sewer and power systems that are unlike anything else seen in other city building titles.

-The buildable area is a colossal playground that seems like its hundreds of square kilometers in scale. Connect multiple cities on the same map to eachother using trucks, busses, trains, and even planes!

-From purely sandbox with quick build to realistic logistic simulations for construction and demolition projects tune the game the exact way you want to play with a huge selection of game options to tweak.

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic sets the bar for its genre and is by far the best city builder on the market.

TLDR: Writing = moldy dog water, gameplay = legendary, graphics = insanely good.

What I dont like:
Listening to the story and the playable character "quips" if you can even call them quips anymore is akin to the nuisance of unsmackable mosquitoes flying around your head that are also scratching their little insect fingers on miniature chalkboards. The writing of the main antagonists is especially cringe worthy and I could accurately describe them as bratty, Walmart brand, Handsome Jack knockoffs. The dialogue in general across all the characters is 1 dimensional, quips and jokes were definitely made but I would rather listen to a compilation of poorly executed knock knock jokes or to an AI read the entirety of the English dictionary.

What I do like:
The gameplay itself is so good it almost excuses the writing or lack there of. The skill tree at least for the mech lady (that I cannot be f**kd to remember the name to due to the bland dialogueitis this game suffers from) is very satisfying to progress through and optimize with tons of different (and fun) gameplay changing options to choose from. The graphics are also just eyecandy no matter where you are in the world or what you are looking at. I suppose the voice acting itself completely excluding the writing was also done very well but its not worth listening to in the slightest.

Would I reccomend this game?

I guess!?!

Most of the sour reviews are from people who played the original and the things they are upset about have had zero effect on me as a new player to the franchise. I also see lots of them complaining about how clunky the menu is to them but I actually found re-arranging and editing the lair to be pretty intuitive for the most part save for moving individual pieces of existing furniture which can be a little tedious. All the menus feel pretty easy to navigate and it has a really good tutorial that has been explaining everything to me thus far without being too restrictive on the gameplay itself while you are in it.

An absolute steal at 3$ for the game and all its DLC as of the time of this review. Just get it!

Imagine if the best parts of the Halo series, the OG 2000s Starwars Battlefronts, and Helldivers 2 were put into a blender and made into a multiplayer FPS. Thats Section 8 Prejudice. If a clone of this game came out nowadays it would be an instant hit, its really unfortunate how obscure of a title this is considering just how fun it is even against the bots.
