It's a pretty fun game mired by matchmaking issues and frequent crashes. To be fair, I'm playing on the Steam Deck, which this game doesn't support, but I'm heading the same issues from my compatriots playing the game so 🤷

After some updates to their servers, and some awkward moments where we weren't earning XP or in-game currency or rewards from Battlepasses, the game has somewhat stabilized into a very fun coop experience that rivals the tongue-in-cheek hyperviolence of Borderlands while staying cheesier than shark cootchie platter.

Well done, devs. We can deliver some managed democracy in a world full of hostile, justice-hating scum. And we can do it with the Deck.

It was recently revealed that the requirement for having a Playstation Network account that was listed on the store front page would be going into effect at the end of May for existing users. Due to the fact that some customers in some countries cannot make a PSN account, there has been a huge backlash against this game.

The fact of the matter is that this game is so good that everyone review-bombing it is proof that they love the game, but they do not agree with this direction...

What will happen is still up in the air, but I wanted to update my review and keep it positive because, at the end of the day, the game is amazing and the devs should be proud of it. Sony is the enemy, not Arrowhead Games.
