With almost 1,000 hours into this game. i would recommend this game. here are some things you should know if you're looking towards buying this game.

Pavlov VR is by far the best multiplayer VR shooter you can buy. it has a good number of weapons with lots of attachments. loads of maps made from its community, lots of game modes from TDM, ww2 push, prophunt and lots of more game modes. its community is mature (for PCVR players) and to be honest its not as populated as i wished it was.

now for some reason Update 29 which took months became rather controversial and i'm not sure why people are hating on it. but this is my own take on it.
with update 29 we got some new weapons new game modes and even a new vehicle. but people seemed upset because now we have PS5 VR players as like a cross play thing. yes they are kids which can be annoying but just turn off the cross play feature to play with just PCVR players. some people think that Pavlov VR got sold to sony which i could not find anything on that. just because a game that is PCVR exclusive release their game to console doesn't always mean it got sold. but again i could be wrong. if you've heard about what happened to onward. then this cross play integration here isn't such a big deal.

another thing is the modding community that got killed with the update because of the switch over to the mod.io integration.
this is not necessary true. we were told that the game engine will be updated from UE 4.21 to UE 5.1 and that would make old mod content incompatible. that was almost a year before the update came out to let map makers prepare for it.

this is just my own opinion on this but yeah pavlov is good still. if you enjoy shooting annoying kids then this is the game for you.

I never usually bother leaving reviews here on steam but what the devs did with this EAC update just ruined the game for so many people.

the mods that most people used on VRchat are accessibility mods. which i have no idea why the devs didn't add any accessibility options in the first place. so now people that have any form is disabilities (like hearing issues, Subtitles & Captioning for in game movies. ect) are not going to be able to play the game with those accessibility mods.

not to mention that the devs haven't done anything to fix avatar ripping and crashing. and no the EAC doesn't fix that.
The devs do not care about the community and this update proves just that.

After looking everywhere for a vr game that had almost all the weapons i could want with realistic physics and weapon mechanics. this is the game that i have been looking for!
this game has just about any firearm you can think of. with different ammo variations like Armor piercing and tracer round and so many attachments you can think of.

Pros-
-with the realistic weapon mechanics, and sounds. its a rather immersive experience.
-The developers are constantly updating the game like every week or so adding new weapons, giving the community what they wish to see in the game. and overall making the game better and better every update.
-all the weapons you could imagine. like wwl, wwll, to cold war weapons and even modern weapons too. there is even a musket/flintlock! :D
-several game modes that will entertain you for hours non stop. i can't seem to stop playing this game.
-There is mod support for this game. maps, guns, melee weapons even.
cons-
besides the fact that this game is by far the most realistic weapon mechanics, physics and realism. it does NOT have multiplayer. which i think its for the best because games like pavlov and onward seem to have a more toxic community since its the equivalent to CSGO.

there isn't really any other cons besides that

If you are looking for a game that has a realistic feeling firearm that functions just like in real life, this is the game.

I got the game fresh install and it would just crash after loading into gta v story mode. Then I decided to see if it was the same case with GTA V online and it wouldn’t even connect. To rockstar services. Almost 2 days trying to figure out what the hell was going on. I spent more game time trying to figure out why it wasn’t working than playing the actual game. I refunded the game. I’m not waiting my time trying to figure out why it can’t even load into the story mode. My computer is above recommended system requirements as well. I’m not dealing with rockstars poor customer support either.

I’ve tried reinstalling the game several times. Verifying game integrity files so many times and nothing! An absolute wait of time!

very fun, you've got all the vehicles you could imagine. you can customize them. and just wreck them for fun. very entertaining!

A very nice sandbox game. Been playing it for almost 2 years and it never gets boring.
