TLDR: 10/10, outstanding game! RimWorld is worth every cent and every minute. I absolutely recommend trying it out - there's fun here for just about all types of game enjoyers. :)

This is the type of game with immense detail and all sorts of mechanics. You can decide if you prefer a more easygoing story - focused on resource gathering, interactions, and building - or a harsh story with many hardships and more intensity. I usually play MMOs, and games like Stardew Valley, Skyrim, and Subnautica. RimWorld has already become one of my favorite experiences, with so much depth and freedom in how you play. I learned a lot with my first colony and still feel like I hardly scratched the surface of what's here.

My first colony was "complete" (they made it to space!!) after ~ 110 hours and I am HOOKED. I can't wait to dive into the dlc next, and mods. :)
