My favorite part is beating up a roomba. You either clean or get cleaned.

If you want to get this game for its multiplayer. Dont, the devs have many issues they have to fix.

My biggest issue is cant do DLC's with a friend who also owns the DLC's and its been over a week.

Other issues is ships wont load 100% when started in multiplayer.

Honestly feels like a beta at this point. for a 1.0 game.

(for explaining my tolerance for bugs, i play star citizen which is buggy as hell. THIS is unplayable for co-op)

Edit 8/12/2024: recently i tried with another friend who was from same country as other friend. (connection from us to uk) and there was big issues still. they managed to join one time tho after 20x attempts. but feels like long distance co-op sessions are unstable. and need improving. id need to test with someone from us one day.

And i had hopes for this game. Last played it on april 19th 2023, but i been wanting to come back at it later when it was improved. but sad to see devs abandoned it. i dont think it was ready to be called "done"

I am gonna be honest here. Some people's criticism Is not fully fair in the reviewing of the game negative. And im talking bout the complaints of bug mess. I know how they feel on the game somewhat when it comes to playing, i have 6h in, and i hit my first progress blocking bug yesterday, but yesterday was also the day 1 release. For a studio's Very first game. Whom has already released a big patch this morning, and it has announced another one coming tomorrow, to adress more things.

They're trying the best i have seen of a developer, better then a AAA, so i give them the benefit of the doubt and cheer them on! if the game has any major issues in a month that was day 1, thats unavoidable. and unworkaroundable. then i will change to a negative, cause that is fair judgement. This negative reviewing instantly is like trying to curb stomp on the potential of a game, and the developers life. I don't mind seeing this with bigger companies whom should of known better and did testing with their huge teams. but this is a small team, new indie dev. first game. Have some common sense, and just report the bugs properly and give them time to fix it quickly. (oh and stop with the early access stuff, the tag only means the game is unfinished cause not all content is there, not that its buggy, hell if you think about it, all games are ea. they still get content updates!)

Now with that said, to the review. *will add as i play more*

Pro's.
- Compared to games like american truck or euro truck sim, your not the truck in this game, but the driver themself. You get the extra experiences of maintaining your energy, food and water, and trying to not die in the harsh weather and nature of alaska.

- good sized map, i was at first worried when i saw it in trailers, but then when i played myself, i realized. it was not a small map. much much bigger then i expected. and its getting more.

- good game play system, you got
- truck maintenance, where you have to maintain most of your truck, even on the road,
- many shops to buy your every day needs,
- upgradeable hq to have your whole truck fleet,
- a good skill system, of 3 trees, with 3 different ways to earn xp.

Cons
- The annoying, 15 mph sign in the middle of a 55 mph zone, at intersections. A friend who lives in alaska, said he never seen those. But this is managable if you can make sure to avoid the slowing traffic, and not be on their butt like i usually am XD


- Driving is a bit stiff
-Steering is clunky a lil bit, but can be managed.
-No cruise control.

- No fast traveling, Don't know if its planned as a feature. would be nice one day.

All in all, i havent found many negatives yet. Id say get the game if you want something more involving then ATS or ETS2.

Would recommend sofar

-Heists are good
-Gun selection is decent
-attachments and customization for guns is gun rank required to buy, not RNG cards like payday2. these ranks carry over to another gun if its the same gun, say have 2 car-4's.
-Some enemies actually terrify me in terms of "oh god, kill that now!" like dozers or cloakers
-lockpicking doesnt take long enough to go get a cookie from the kitchen
-lots of character customization like clothing, gloves ect.
-no detection rate based on gear, so you can bring heaviest armor and still scope places without suspicion

Cons.
*havent played enough for any bad thoughts and no the offline stuff doesnt matter for me. i bought the game to rob banks with friends*

i been playing since pre release, and i have enjoyed everything i have seen sofar

As a space game, it is missing some of those nice aspects a space game like star citizen or elite dangerous can have, but its great in its own way. and we gotta remember this isnt a flight sim like those two games.

but overall i have to recommend this game. the launch was quite solid for pre release, not a buggy mess at all like people were expecting,

the story itself is quite interesting, ive done somany quests that felt like they were the main story, yet theyre all side quests.

The ship building is quite interesting itself, (people bully me calling my custom ship a turtle cause it looks like one)

The game also has base building, as outposts but i have yet to do this 55h in.

Overall, great game, not much else i know to say cause theres not much to critique for me besides not being able to fly down the planets manually like a space flight sim does (remember this isnt a space flight sim)
