Very short game (as it says on the store page, 100%ed in 1 hour 15min including one achievement that requires you to wait for 15min). Though it's very polished, well optimized, pleasant and cute! I really enjoyed it.

Amazing way to kill an hour. Free, fantastic and short idler/clicker/incremental game!

5/10 it's okay, would assign neutral if it were an option.

Most time is spent AFK. Not shocking for an idler but the loop of feeding, selling and buying gets stale REAL quick. It wouldn't be that much of an issue but the gap between tiers of packs is way too long even with semi-active play.

The UI is also quite bad. The presentation is fine but you have to 'refresh' by switching tabs to get it to update your fish inventory which is clunky (not smooth like expected). The tutorial arrows were just an overlay which stay in place even if you clicked around, too, which was a good introduction to the jankiness of it.

Opening packs doesn't feel that good or special. I just sell stuff quickly looking at the numbers rather than the fish themselves. Would feel better if that gap between pack tiers wasn't such a huge slog.

Game looks nice enough, watch fish swim and you name them. There seem to be very few decoration options, which is disappointing and seems like a missed opportunity (unless some reveal themselves later I'm not sure).

Feels like it uses too much computer power for what it is as well so it's also not that comfortable to leave running (lower spec PC but still, it's a simple 2D game).

Bought at half-price for a few bucks so I'm not that disappointed. I'll keep playing to go for completion cause' my brain's like that but yeah. Mildly disappointing experience. Though I've only tried a couple of other idler games, Cookie Clicker definitely spoiled me in comparison.

Other fish-idler games on the market look better and have similar price points; I recommend trying the demo first to see what you'll get.

must play... arkham trilogy + origins are p h e n o m e n a l and this is theee best starting point. so good so good helped me get into batman as a whole. officer balls bwahahaha.

game of the year every year

Leaving a review after 100% completion. Game is amazing, stacked voice cast (love the inclusion of the Arkham game VAs in this!), great levels and DENSE open world. Like, about half my play time after 100%ing the levels was clearing out all the open world stuff. Did get a bit tedious with the fetch quests but they all came with their own little stories so it was nice!
Big issues is of course the bugs. Which there are quite a lot so be careful and don't try anything too crazy (especially in open world) before completion as you may get hard-locked out of something. Got stuck in a few levels and had to reset them.
But other than that really good game if you're a DC/ Batman fan or a lego game enjoyer of course.
Love the Gotham area it's detailed and pretty and makes me excited for LOTDK :)
Pick up the deluxe edition on a sale for sure.

The classic telltale magic. Such an interesting take on Batman and the Joker... Yes, Bruce always had such a big impact on him but to this extent?

Choices in episode 4 split the game into two paths, so there are 2 completely different episode 5s! Worth playing both of them---the 'bad' route which is more close to typical Batman canon, and the 'good' route which is very different yet still so messy and wholesome and heartbreaking. Both paths are heartbreaking really, but at least the characters (especially 'John') will find their own happiness in whatever dynamic they end up in---friends, enemies, something else? ;)

It's just fascinating, and both routes left me shattered in different ways.
Play the first game before this one. It's not as good, but it's short and only needs one playthrough. Some character stuff carries over.

I hope they make season 3 some day :)

I only wish you could pursue something more romantic with John in the 'good' route. It gets *very* close lol. Thank u telltale. <3

Cozy and cute little game. A bit too much 'run around the map and collect the materials' later on, but overall simple and sweet game! Took 10 hours to 100%, bought at -90% so was well worth it!
