Disappointing

The game is incredibly front-loaded. In the beginning, it feels wonderful to play and discover different areas, NPCs, monsters, and zones. However, by the time you reach around 20 hours, you quickly realize you've been killing the same enemy repeatedly. For a game about exploration, the loot is nonexistent. The excitement of exploration dies immediately after realizing that merchants carry the exact same loot. Let's not even talk about the main story and how quickly it becomes unengaging and sadly boring. I bought this title for 94 CAD and will be putting it down after 25 hours of play. Unfortunately, you feel a bit cheated by the price.

Gameplay is fun and can get pretty intense at times. However, the game has a similar monetization to Halo Infinite. New suits are locked behind a mountain of a paywall and some of those suits are meta in class. Log in, complete challenges and, log out. Even if the locked suites cost double in free currency, game wins or leveling up should grant you currency or at least a free lootbox to roll on cosmetics.

Do not get the battlepass! The gameplay and design of the game are great so far! The monetization system in this game is the WORST i have seen i think ever. Not only do free to play players get absolutely nothing in terms of unlocks or progression neither do battlepass owners. BP levels are locked behind horrible challenges and are time gated to the extreme. Everything in this game is asking to be monetized and i am amazed that a dev looked at this and was okay with it. I wouldn't make the same mistake as me and spend any money until this is addressed.

Played 21 hours and have not left the tutorial area. Absolutely amazing experience. One of the few games i have played that is better with friends vs alone. You might miss out on some options but the immersion that playing with friends brings enhances the game.

Just buy it.

The perfect disappointment to end 2020.

I actually payed Bungie to remove most of the content from the game. 10/10 i am a dumbass. DONT BUY THIS DLC

Luck = hacks/aimbots/wall hacks/smurfer, great sportmanship 10/10
