This was my first time playing a Souls-like/GoW/whatever game. I bought this game, because I love the story of Journey to the West and Sun Wukong. After my second boss, I thought I would immediately rage quit this game. But, after committing over 20 attempts at it, I finally realized what made this game so fun. Learning each boss, exploring each area fully, finding secrets, and upgrading Wukong has honestly made this one of the most addicting games I've ever played. I'm only on Chapter 3/6, but I know by the end I will want more. Highly recommend this to anyone who is up for a great challenge. 10/10 game for me, definitely worth the purchase.
