After playing several highly rated horror games, Lazaretto still surprised me with a different style, the immersion that you can get playing this game is its forte additionally to some easy puzzles.

This game is not about hide and run all the time but more about enjoying the ride, plus if you are new to this type of games the current game duration is fair enough for its price.

The game is still under development and we can expect more content in the future supporting the amazing developers behind this.

First time I played this many years back I was like "oh, another minecraft".
O boy. How wrong I was. This is pure action with little sandboxing grinding made fun trough nice progression system, really funny and challenging bosses and extremely deep.
You can soak hundreds of hours and not seeing all but without feeling you are grinding at all, and when u finish it you will feel satisfied and waiting for terraria 2 to come ASAP.
What? Are you still reading this? What else is stopping you from buying this NOW?!

The current state of the gameplay is broken.
Besides bugs, being acceptable in alpha, they would still make you lose tons of hours of progress.
Some gameplay issues :
1. Some tasks requires you to be online for extended periods of time, being the worst when imprinting pets which requires 1you to be up to 48hours online, at least once every 4 hours. That means you won't sleep in that period if you really are into the game, doesn't matter if you play with friends or not.
2. Breeding pets is not something casual, you need a lot of rexes to beat the final bosses, that means hundreds of hours in just babysitting little monsters for extended periods of time, you better get a second monitor because you will be watching tons of netflix.
3. Currently endgame bosses are broken and impossible to beat online without spending billions of hours before taming good rexes and being part of a big tribe.
4. The kibble tree is a total nonsense, there is no "logical" path to tame dynos making the progress even more slow and boring.
5. Dieing is extremely punishing, losing all your equipped gear which might take hours to farm, specially when you die because of getting glitched by your own dynos or the enemy will make you feel like burning your house down.
6. Poor interface, you can't whisper someone, you can't easily see you dynos stats such as food/health which is critical when you have hundreds under your control. You can't ignore trolls(in this game all players are trolls due to their inner frustration against the game so the chat itself it's kind of a resonance chamber of trolling and frustration)

And the list of nonsense goes on and on you only have to check the reddit forums to see how the community feels about the development and updated on this games, where only nerfs and stupid fixes are introduced instead of fixing the gameplay mechanics.

This game promises a lot, but if I were you, I would wait till the game is released at the end of august or a bit more and see if the developers really address all the gameplay issues, I regret buying this game in beta.
