"Over the past decades (1980 - 2008) the averaged data reveals that:
Black people commit 52.5% of all murder in the USA, despite only being an average of 12.6% of the country's population through the recorded years.
White people commit 45.3% of all murder in the USA, despite being average of 82.9% of the country's population through the recorded years.

I'll be using 4 significant digits for all of the following calculations.

The per capita rate is as follows:
Black % of murder per percentage share of population: 52.50 / 12.60 = 4.167
White % of murder per percentage share of population: 45.30 / 82.90 = 0.5464

We find that if we normalize (divide both by the same number) these to the to the Black murder rate:
Black % of murder compared to black murders: 4.167/4.167 = 1= 100.0%
White % of murder per percentage share of population: 0.5464/4.167 = 0.1311= 13.11%

the White demographic commits only 13.11% as much murder per capita as the Black demographic in the US.

We find that if we normalize (divide both by the same number) these to the to the White murder rate:
Black % of murder compared to black murders: 4.167/0.5464 = 7.626 = 762.6%
White % of murder per percentage share of population: 0.5464/0.5464 =1 = 100.0%

the Black demographic commits an alarming 762.6% as much murder per capita as the White demographic in the US.
As a mathematical proof that these 2 per capita sets are both related:
If we view these as decimals instead of percentages (included in the above calculations), we see that the inverse of the Black per capita normalized to White per capita
(7.626) is equal to the White per capita normalized to Black per capita (0.1311) : 1/7.626 = 0.1311
and vice versa: 1 / 0.1311 = 7.627 (rounding error, due to using 4 significant digits, but a difference of 0.001 is negligible).

As such in the USA:
Black people are (statistically speaking, not about individuals) 7.626 times more likely to murder than a White person.
White people are (statistically speaking, not about individuals) 0.1311 times less likely to murder than a Black person.

NOTE: the vast majority of the murders in this country (USA) are intra-racial (black on black & white on white)"
