One of the best games I have ever played, ever.

Just don't look up too much. Buy this game now and GO. Youtube can and will spoil you endgame content if you keep checking up the game instead of playing it.

Wolfenstein 3D and DooM are the LITERAL grandpas of the FPS genre. You HAVE to at least play this game and beat it at least once to actually appreciate where the genre truly started. No excuses. Go.

I love this game. The core gameplay is amazing, but I cannot EXCUSE the horrendous optimization.

i3-10100f, RTX 2060 12GB, 16 GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD and somehow the game still thinks that's not enough for me to hit Lowest 1080p 60FPS with DLSS on Balanced. The fact that they advertised using "Frame Generation" just to hit 60 FPS on Medium settings is genuine blasphemy. I cannot and WILL NOT excuse this kind of standard for gaming optimization.

If you want a smooth experience, don't repeat my mistake and just wait it out until CAPCOM gets themselves together and optimizes this game even further.

I've gone through the gacha game rabbit hole before. My first mistake was playing Genshin Impact. For a genuinely huge while I have been under the impression that all gacha games under this genre were just money grabbing live services that yank your wallet.

This one says otherwise. This game literally is from an indie studio that straight up actually is more than fine earning less profit than the big players in this genre. Give this and their other paid games a genuine, proper chance.

I actually did come to this game expecting one that doesn't meet my expectations, coming from Dirt Rally 1 and 2.
Reminder, I bought Dirt Rally 2 on full price, I bought this game on a steep discount.
I actually was surprised at how well this game controls for the gamepad actually, the physics feel a slight notch more casual than the Dirt Rally games, but it's in a way where you can jump in and enjoy going full throttle. I pretty much understood this when I started hopping on the Audi Quattros and realizing I can actually steer with them and genuinely floor it. The sense of speed on that thing is INSANE!

You should at least consider buying this game if you love Dirt Rally 2, you would enjoy what it offers.

The game itself is AMAZING. but you know what isn't amazing?

This game being online only alongside one of having genuinely the horrendous game launch I've ever witnessed besides Callisto Protocol, difference is you literally can't play the game due to servers being dead.

Just please wait instead, I beg of you. I want Starbreeze to take a win but somehow they had the audacity to remove LOBBY SELECT/BROWSER and replaced it with a matchmaking that does NOT even work.

Somehow, even if this game has Denuvo Anti-Tamper, the game rans well flawlessly PAST 120 FPS on my following specs:

i3-10100f, RTX 2060, and 16 GBs RAM, and on an HDD. I did not even turn on FSR or DLSS, but they are fully there as options for you to alleviate frame issues.

Anyways, as of the writing of this review I have beaten up to the third boss of this game (where the Demo stopped) and the game still feels amazing, ESPECIALLY if you align hard with the Souls genre. Keep your eyes on this game when you have the time and money.

I beat this game twice pirated.

It's time I return the favour and actually buy the game, and beat it twice again.

You love DMC and Bayonetta? Please, buy this game on full price. The entire OST is also on YT and Spotify as well. That's all I beg of you.
