Veteran Risk of Rain and Risk of Rain 2 players will find RoR Returns familiar, but more challenging game play. The providence trials are a little OP against the player, requiring guides/ walkthroughs to earn gold, or even passing, marks.

Best value game I've ever played. Tons of replay value (obviously) and so many secrets/ achievements. Developers are heavily invested and continually update this game with more content!

<1 Hr of quick fun

Amazing game, not usually a fan of Roguelikes - but the replayability and multiplayer makes this game in it's own category. Devs continue to put in work to make it an enjoyable experience for players - next major update (DLC) w/ new Characters, Items, Maps, and a Game mode expected to release in Q1 2022. =)

New Game + provides a better incentive then previous games in the series to replay the game. Aside from that, the game mechanics, action sequences, and predictable storyline remains consistent with the previous games.

Going over 100 hours of Gameplay and I still enjoy every minute. Although I'm not a diehard completionist when it comes to video games and acheivements, MGSV offers enough incentives through weapon unlocks, character customization, story advancement, and buddy abilities to keep players attached.

Focus on gameplay does reward stealth styles more, however, as the game advances (and so does the AI), louder styles and tactics are more advantageous. Definately a must have for returning fans of the franchise and a smart investment for those, like myself, to the series.

Since becoming a free game, cheaters are consistently in matchmaking and all-modes in game despite developers promoting a 'ban list." Would never recommend playing this game, especially with so many, better derivatives of a battle-royal shooter available.

EDIT: Cheaters (from aimbots to movement hacks) continue to ruin this game. Developers do not focus enough on this issue on preventing scripts, exploits, etc. Voids any enjoyment in matches w/ those guys.

EDIT: 08OCT18 - Hackers still proliferate the game

EDIT: 10FEB24 - Hackers are everywhere; micro-transactions plague this game and is apparent to all players this is the only thing the developers invest in/ care about

EDIT: 27NOV24 - Developers have abandoned this game, only updating store cosmetics to try to squeeze more money out of the dwindling player base.
