4.5k hours in poe1, was hopeful for this game and gave it a fair shot but the state they released it in is severely lacking. I held off on giving a review but after the news today that they have no development resources allocated for poe1 anymore after saying that poe2 would not affect the first game and we are now looking at the current poe1 league that has already been running for 7 months (usually 3-4) is going to be another few months long I have to do this. I am not happy.

Over the past year or so, since a little after D4 came out I've been consumed by this game. I came to POE after D4 brought me into ARPG's but left me disappointed. If you're someone who loves depth to games and has lots of time to play them this game will satisfy you beyond your wildest dreams. With over a decade worth of content this game has more stuff to do than most people know what to do with. It's intimidating at first, but trust me it will be worth it. Easily the best game ever created in my opinion. The devs are an absolutely fantastic bunch as well which really helps.

Issues from launch seem to be resolved now, still an occasional disconnect but that's leaps and bounds better than it was. Props to the devs for prompt resolution on the problems. You've seen all the hype, the game is good. Get in there and spread some managed democracy.

This game has engulfed my life. It's so gosh darn good it's refreshing to be excited about a single player game again. Highly recommend to just about anyone looking for a great adventure full of wonder and suspense.
