Early Access Review
Buying this Early Access version of ITR2 is misleading.
Part of your EA Investment here on Steam is being spent to develop the non-Steam MetaQuest3 version of the game.
No where on the store page was this ever mentioned, and as of this review it is still not mentioned.
However on the ITR/ITR2 Discord you can read in full detail how this is exactly what is happening.

I'm not against the developer deciding to do what they think is best for their game. But I think it should be made clear to the Early Access investors just what their money is being spent on.
Especially when it's being used to directly fund development on a competing platform.

As far as the game itself. It needs more time to cook.
The current EA version is short and plagued with game breaking bugs that make just simply playing it a chore.

The MQ3/S version of the game is being developed alongside the PCVR version. As you've noticed, we don't share news about it on the Steam page, because the Steam news feed is about the PCVR version of the game, and details about the standalone release might not apply to it.

You can read it on our social pages, as you also mentioned.

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and spending about 100 hours on ITR2 EA. To be honest, we never expected anyone to stay in the zone that long, but it's great to see. Hope you'll enjoy the 0.13 update coming later this spring, stay tuned!
