I can't truthfully type everything I feel about this game, I think it would have the opposite effect that I want, I want people to play this game and I love this game. I didn't think with how many games I've played, and how long I've been playing games, that I would find an all time favorite game in current year.

However if I were to nerd out on how genuinely incredible this game is, people would immediately think I'm exaggerating and either avoid it, or go in with a mindset of TRYING to not enjoy it. So just know I played it on day one with literally 0 info past watching the trailer, then proceeded to get addicted until I was 100% done.
(then I cried, and cried some more, then I cried just a liiiiiiittle more.)
Beautiful game, very happy I got to play it in my lifetime.

I can't explain it, but I want every single rpg that I play to have the same vibe as this game.

let me just start by saying VERY fun game and I would recommend it.
Theres also a demo lets you experience the first couple levels so you can get a feel for if you'll like the gameplay loop.

those are probably the 2 most important things to say, however theres still quite a few things worth note that may or may not sway your opinion depending on how "hardcore" of a gamer you are and whether or not its a deal breaker.

While I have alot of praise for this game there is actually one issue that I think should definitely be taken into account, the game is quite buggy. It wasn't the frequency in which I experienced bugs but the severity of what happened, on one occasion while going for the endless mode achievement I had an enemy become completely invincible causing me to redo the last 40 minutes of endless which wasn't very epic. Even more annoyingly when going back for my 100% achievement the missions no longer had a certain collectible spawning in the mission which apparently has happened to multiple people, just in different levels, I found out once looking into the issue. Lastly I would get stuck in a wall CONSTANTLY while using the chainsaw legs with the speed boost augment, it was actually like a 50% chance that I would slide and get stuck in a wall not being able to get out until the game stops sliding me.

Even with those bugs it was still definitely an enjoyable experience, it really only hindered me AFTER my first play through.

Thats like the main issue, the only other thing I can think of is some of the writing/voice acting can be a little rough while others are really good, same goes for weapons, some are awesome and others are incredibly forgettable.

With all that being said if you can look past those things or don't care about them to begin with, the game is genuinely a very fun, fast paced experience with super sick movement, and kick-ass level design. I've played alot of movement shooters and can safely say this one still deserves a play.

Not a big fighting game guy, however this game not only hooked me instantly, it inspired me to go back and play the earlier entries in the series after. Overall very fun game highly recommend even if fighting games aren't your thing.

EASILY one of, if not my actual favorite game of 2024.
Before playing I went in VERY skeptical cause there are so many roguelike deck builders available out there, but man this game is SOOO much more than that.
The big difference between this game and almost every other deckbuilder I've played, is that the story and the progression elevate the game to a whole new level, story had me fully invested and wanting more and more until I had finished everything where it was wrapped in a very nice bow.
Seriously great game, if you're on the fence and are looking for a story driven roguelike deckbuilder this is THE one.

Early Access Review
Alot of the negative reviews I see are actually why I really enjoy this game over other rougelikes. The scaling of your own power can go crazy high to the point where your abilities have full uptime and span across your entire screen, almost every run on max chaos will devolve into this, but I view that as a major upside, it actually feels like you are getting stronger and evolving as a run goes on, and obviously to combat this the enemies have to scale just as hard. Keeping in mind, the game only becomes a bullet hell on the hardest of difficulties, so if people dont like that, they should probably not play on the hardest difficulty. Speaking of which I have even seen people say that you can only play a select number of builds as on the higher difficulty its not possible to use other stuff, but that is a flat out lie lol. To get every characters weapons and levels in the hundreds Ive played every different ability and build possible MULTIPLE times, and never once did I feel like I had to play anything specific on the maximum difficulty.

In conclusion, I eagerly await future updates and think not only the scaling feels rewarding and fair for both player and enemies, but also really enjoy not feeling like I ever have to play one specific build and had plenty of content to unlock before I ever ran out of stuff to do.

The long awaited sequel to the hit Blizzard game "Overwatch" where in the first game, you paid 20-40$ for an ok team based fps class based multiplayer game, where you could play to EARN any and EVERY cometic for free!

The sequel "Overwatch 2" features literally everything from the first installment, but shifts the 20-40$ price tag to EVERY cosmetic, where you can no longer EARN any and EVERY cosmetic for free ever again!

(unless you spend 3 months doing weekly challenges to earn enough in-game currency to buy a single skin.)

This is the game that single handedly destroyed mobile game innovation for the next decade.
