Tri Repetae (stylised as tri repetae.) is the third studio album by English electronic music duo Autechre, released on November 6, 1995 by Warp in the United Kingdom. In contrast to the duo's previous albums, Incunabula (1993) and Amber (1994), Tri Repetae features a distinct style that incorporates more minimal, repetitive rhythmic patterns and intricate, spacious melodic arrays. This is echoed in its album cover, which consists of only a single shade of beige.

Enter the Gungeon is a game that was released in 2016 by those paragons of independent games, Devolver Digital. Now we can praise Devolver until the sun comes up, but this isn't their game. This game was developed by Dodge Roll, and this studio comes straight out of the gate with a great game combining facets of the roguelike genre with large quantities of bullets. But you can't have bullets, be they heavy, bouncy, or hot, without guns - and GUNgeon also delivers on this, with guns aplenty. And if you were hoping for there to be references to some of your favorite gun-related media, don't worry - legally distinct versions of guns from Dead Space, the James Bond series, and The Fifth Element show up, alongside many, many, many other guns and items.

So enough about the game's guns - how does the game play? This game was made for a mouse and keyboard combo, with no controller giving you the freedom of movement you have with your gun with a mouse. The major mechanic in this game (you know, besides all the shooting) is... well, unsurprisingly, a dodge roll, which allows you to jump over enemy bullets, a pit, and also damage enemies (although I wouldn't advise it - you only have 6 hits before your run's over at first!). The secondary mechanic is called a Blank, and allows you to clear the screen of bullets. This mechanic is useful in boss rooms, which take everything you've done in the chamber and ramp it up elevenfold, but is handy in other areas on the map. Blanks are refilled every chamber and can also be used for finding secret rooms in conjunction with a gun you find in the many chests squirrelled away in the Gungeon. Let's just hope that the Resourceful Rat doesn't get to one first!

In the end, I feel that this game is a mustplay if you've enjoyed the types of games that Devolver has published. If you haven't, then you should buy it because it's a great example of roguelike games as they are currently. It's also just a d*mn fun time.
