Where to start? Oh, Over 1500 hours spent in this game. (Steam pads hours because of a launcher that requires updates separately from steam downloads)

This game...

Why would you not want to slice up enemies in numerous ways?
This game does have a lot of repetition in grinding for the parts for various things, but when you finally build that thing you worked a week of your life for, You have a great sense of self satisfaction and a week of your life gone.

Some people may not like how much grinding goes into things, but I'm a type of person who likes it. Working for your weapons and gear is well worth it i believe.

All in all. Get this if you are into fast paced parkour, killing, ninjas, or any type of 4 player co-op game. Don't let the grind scare you away, give it a try.
There are SEVERAL different levels to play in this game. You too may some day have 1500+ hours into this game. :D

That review was a few years ago when I had time on my hands to actually waste comfortably.
New review below.

I've learned to cope with the wait times when making new guns and warframes, but the lack of content for veteran players is driving me away. I've taken increasingly long breaks from the game along with a lot of my clan members who now don't have multiple hours a day to play anymore. The story is phenomenal and is mainly what has kept me coming back about once a week, just to see if there's something new to play. I miss the days a few years ago when the Second Dream dropped with a ton of lore. Old events that were fun are also locked forever and can never be accessed again. All that lore and fun unique versions of missions are gone in place of less fun, grindy missions.

The premium currency situation is iffy. I've worked for most of mine, but caved when a 75% off coupon comes around from a login reward. You can get all items (except a few cosmetic items that cost real money) completely free, but at the cost of spending endless hours like I have grinding mindlessly in this game. The mindlessness of a hoard/looter shooter brought me into the game but having years of the same thing with bosses that have been better, but still could use work.

Warframe in a nutshell:

Veterans: we want an endless mode like the good ol days in the void
DE: Oh? Let's give you an endurance mode where you can only play for a few minutes then it gets stupid hard so you're forced to leave.
Veterans: No, we want an endless mode
DE: Here, have a decent gamemode that suffers from the still bad armor scaling and bad AI. While we're at it, let's add a cool open world area that is super easy for new players to get to, but when they get there, they aren't powerful enough to do 90% of the content there.
Veterans: *leave because lack of content for veterans*
DE: *PIkachu surprised face*

I'll change my review back to what it was when DE fixes their game enough, or gives content to veterans like we've been waiting for years to warrant it.

After the Duviri Paradox update, this game feels so fresh now, and there's quite a few things for veterans now. I'm happy with my time spent in game now and it feels actually rewarding and fun now.

LMAO you still played for 4k+ hours...
Guess it's not that bad in the end.
Just another ungrateful person, ofc you will lose interest in the game after playing such an insane amount of time.
