Okay, coming from console (Almost 2000 hours) and being a max rep Kensei over there, I gotta say that this game is absolutely one of a kind. You will never find an experience quite like For Honor again.
This is not always good. The community is known for being a bit toxic and arrogant, and the learning curve is pretty mean to newcomers (You need to go in expecting to predict a lot of stuff instead of reacting to everything).
However, despite these shortcomings, the game is my favourite multiplayer game that I've played since the days of Runescape's height. The fighting system is phenomenal and unique, the story is plenty good, the gameplay itself is smooth and the game runs buttery smooth on anything that has a graphics card and a CPU not out of the 1930s. For Honor is best experienced with friends, when you can have a stack of 2 or 4 people go into a game and coordinate on what to do and how to get your best chance at winning. This is not to say that the game isn't fun on your own, the balance is better than what you'd see in Overwatch or R6 (funny given that the game is much less popular than either of those 2), and you can have plenty of fun just screwing around in duels or solo-queueing in other modes like Dominion or Breach.
If you are at all interested in the weapons, armour, and fighting techniques of the Samurai, Knights, Vikings, or even the Chinese, you will absolutely enjoy For Honor if you give it a chance.

See you out there, warriors!
