Pretty, fun, rich in content, good progression, light and stable. It's like survival games haven't stopped being full of ten minutes adventures that turn into multiple hours long sessions :3

cute n cozy way to socialize with ppl n get my hands busy! unironically fun as a pretty little fishing game too ^-^ decent character customziation, lots of queer n furry rep, silly little jokes in the fish descriptions... just fun

the key bind menu is kinda broken, it keeps overriding things to the wrong things when binding it to another key..? it's trying and failing to be smart, n makes it impossible to remap your movement keys basically. if you wanna move with ESDF of ZQSD (french keyboard) for example

Great game, fun content with nice mid to long-term progression, lots to discover and learn, doesn't get old, great with both friends and randoms. Good performance, even on Linux.

Getting ragdolled can get pretty frustrating, and the menus being made for controller make you feel like you have to fight them; bad mouse support (some things require you to "select" them with a d-pad, but clicking on them will enter a menu instead, and hovering with the mouse doesn't "select" it the same way), keys are not remappable. Both are my main gripes, but they're very minor compared to all there is to do in here.

TLDR: if you know what you're getting into, this is a good tool. personally I don't like the extra latency.

I originally had a pretty negative review of LS. if a game is unplayable, it's not going to help. but, if you have 40-80fps or more, on a very graphically intensive game, and want to take advantage of a high refresh rate monitor, frame gen really does help. I've been using it with helldivers 2, where I get dips to 40-50fps in intense situations, even with low graphics.

it's not perfect, artifacts and blurring are there, but surprisingly minimal, and frame gen really does make the game look and feel a lot more smooth and playable in some situations, compared to 40fps, or playing at a lower resolution. Setting the capture queue and Max frame latency to 1 helps a lot with the latency, at the cost of a little more artifacting, but personally it's hard to use with any more latency n input lag than that.

So, once again - don't expect this to make unplayable games playable. it's not going to help with the latency of low framerates either, and is likely going to add a little latency too. but it's a damn good tool if you want to get a smoother experience out of demanding games (CPU bottleneck for example)

Very fun on portable devices thanks to low system requirements and simple controls, but definitely not a "brain off" game either. Requires a bit of focus to dodge attacks, pick the right upgrades for your build, and mostly, pathfinding your way through hordes of bugs. Not sure about the balance yet, I feel like "run and gun" builds always do better than ones that require you to sit still and face the enemies. The latter is usually compensated with massive DPS, but the reward is still not usually worth standing still... im sure I don't have it all in me yet, there may be some weapon and upgrade combos to make this all better.

Good atmosphere and music, pulling straight from Deep Rock Galactic's universe, the music and some voice lines being copied right over. The chatter and sound effect works just fine. Damage numbers and XP orbs overflowing the screens on the right time, the nice mining animations with satisfying sound effects, quickly getting back into a new dive, it all leads to a pretty addictive experience that is likely to get you hooked up for hours. The main menu lacks a bit of flair I think, feels a bit bland, like, just a step above early access placeholder. Works just fine though.

I've had a bug where my save file got reset after about 5 hours, apparently not uncommon? Make sure to copy the "drgs.dat" file from the "AppData\LocalLow\Funday Games\DRG Survivor" folder in your windows user directory to somewhere safe after a session, you never know.

I'm not familiar with roguelikes and shmups, but I received it as a gift and it's pretty good so far. I think it's worth picking up, whether you are looking to get into a new game or just kill a few days, enjoy this type of game, or just like the DRG universe!

fantastic co-op game.
great gameplay, replayability, performance, personality, short and long-term progression, community... best enjoyed with friends, but just as fun with randoms or solo.

testing things is fun. remember to report bugs and to not attack anyone unless given consent! we're all testing here.

Salty teammates everywhere. still fun tho

Many things to learn, very competitive, but still a fun team-based "hero shooter" with focus on gadgets and setup, quick decision making, environmental and map awareness, and outplaying the other team, and making sure the first bullet you fire hits your target.

In my experience, US servers are much more toxic than EU servers, so I guess get ready for that

Edit: not sure if I can recommend R6 anymore. What i can say is, it's not for me. too much pressure, often requires squadmates, I'm just not the target audience. But there is room for competitive players, as well as curious casual players, with all the things to discover, and overall the game is actively developed and technically functions pretty well.

definitely not worth it just for the cosmetics imo, but I had my fun in this game and it deserves a few bucks for that!
