Gotta do something about never getting wins because (I presume) the host keeps quitting. A bit exasperating when the game ends every time it's head to head.

A true gem, left me feeling about the same as the OGs, like when Neverwinter let me set a bard on fire.

Story like nobody does anymore, with visuals and friendly enough mechanics to keep you going back to the grind.... I'm just excited the genre still exists at this point, and no horse armor in sight!

MMORPG = fear for my IRL. This feels like it has all the goodies, keeps dragging me deeper, and somehow I enjoy the grind... Plays fine on my 980TI @1080 res (which amazed me), lots of great visuals, ridiculous amount of fedex quests that only around L20 but already getting sick of those zombie things... but there's probably more if I wasn't so sidetracked by chopping wood anyway.

It's a good thing, get it, I dunno. I might as well be comparing it with a MUD, I usually avoid this stuff like the plague.

It's really everything everyone else has said. And I have no time for any of this nonsense, but I spent 8 hours on night 1.. stupid bees...

Lesson 1: Sacrificing deer at the altar as soon as you kill your first couple deer is endlessly rewarding, if the reward you are seeking is unrelenting death after death after death.

I just wanted to give it a thumbs up... Not quite done yet, but I started the entire series for the first time a few months back. Kinda sad to see that the "new fancy remaster" just got announced when i'm around 90% done, but what can you do?

Everything's very pretty on my aging 980ti, storylines are pretty good, lots of side-quests, too much volume that feels like fedex.... Like every other witcher it's kinda nice that your decisions matter, a little heavy on the post-decision guilt trips... leaves me feeling like it's a B-movie life-lesson script every time it happens. It's pretty good. I'm also pretty old and pretty jaded, so maybe it's better than that.

I still feel like I'm always fighting for money or wasting time heading to the right merchant a bunch, but otherwise I like the things they did like getting rid of crafting nonsense weights too.... but probably at least as good as any other games on the inventory selling/management

This was just bad.... i mean, read everyone else's reviews for something more thought out and polished.
I'm part LOTR nerd, part old man gamer, but seriously.

I played the tutorials, then i think i played a game on my own, then i found out i had to buy a bunch of characters to play them, then i found one i could play, then I died and went to get some snacks.

Oh, i tried to play multiplayer, because I guess maybe that's what this is supposed to be, and then it just didn't. So not good for that either. Just don't. Sigh.

Thank god it was a gift.
