I was hesitant to buy this or leave a review about this game, but in my short time i've got so much FUN i thought it was never gonna be possible again with an RTS. I play a lot of them, and went into the rabbit hole of the GEM engine now. It's one of the most heart pounding experiences i've got out of one, and that's only on the Conquest campaign mode.

What maybe makes me angry is that since it's so ambitious in details some QoL is overlooked and some things might never be. But you shouldn't be looking for things that aren't, but appreciate the things that are in the game. I hope these devs in the future would do something 40k related, come on, it's obvious it needs to happen.

The gunplay is TIGHT and fun and the Spectre mechanic is genius once it clicks with you. Graphically looks sharp, sounds good and the style is pretty good, as well as the tactical options. It needs more content? yeah if you want to grind towards something. It's easily one of the best in the genre of tactical shooters; if it was backed by a big publisher people would've been hyped for this much more.

It doesn't deserve the Mixed reviews: every review of its kind is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and moaning about meaningless derp and not really about the game, but you know, that's how it goes.

Best Souls game 2024

I have 200 hours on Origin alone, and I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate Origin and EA. This game is so good it made me put up with EA's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ through the years. It is that good.

DO NOT DELETE THE BASE CUBE PAST MIDNIGHT IT'S UP TO YOU

Best Angry Peasant Simulator there is

Almost as good as Dark Souls 2 (the best Dark Souls)

It's got best Potemkin

Also best theme, which is Potemkin too

All other characters are mid, lame and toned down. But let me tell you about honest grapplers-

It's AoE2 with QoL improvements. Asymmetrical civs feel nice, landmarks feel nice, pacing is nice. Good 4v4 team matches.

Surprising because Relic didn't totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up. May be the only good game they released since Company of Heroes 1. Worth it for RTS fans, I needed this.
