It took me to play Monster Hunter Rise for me to realize how much I slept on Monster Hunter World and how much of a great Monster Hunter game it is. It has so much I had hoped the series would have for it's future back when I was playing Monster Hunter Tri and in the moment I slept on it due to small inconveniences like the Multiplayer Quest system being a little finicky (If a player you are playing with hasn't seen the first cut-scene of a quest you can't join initially, you have to wait until they see it and then join mid quest) and the NOW requirement that is you have to go down the Upgrade tree in order to create the weapons you want (In the past it was a requirement for very few weapons but most could just be forged by themselves and not after going down an upgrade tree) but past those minor inconveniences, Monster Hunter World is almost EXACTLY what I'd envisioned the series would be at it's peak. If you are a Monster Hunter fan, or even an action rpg fan I HIGHLY recommend this game.
