I do really enjoy this game, I really do, look at my hours and you can see that quite clearly. A game that has this amount of content for such a low price is really good value, but it does have some critical issues currently.

Currently there is quite a decent amount of people joining in lobbies with tools such as cheat engine and other exploit tools ruining the fun for people playing the game. Some of this ranges to mild annoyance to making the game unplayable (deleting rods) and worse, corrupting save files in some instances discussed. People have also mentioned these people bypassing the restrictions of private lobbies, so you can't avoid this by not playing in public lobbies, meaning you can't even play privately with you friends without being at risk of losing all of your progress.

There are some people who complain about the community playing the game, being overly sexual, but there is an 18+ tag on public servers that people can enable, it's easy to avoid, so I don't really think that's a valid reason to avoid the game.

The actual content it's self is very fun, it's an addicting cycle, and eventually you get to the point where you're trying to fill up your entire journal by catching every fish and rarity of said fish in the game, which is as frustrating as it is fun (I only have a few more alphas to go and I'm finished :3)

Overall I would recommend the game, but unfortunately the web part of web fishing is completely unusable in it's current state. I still really like it, and would recommend playing it, just avoid the online part of it currently
