After playing a good number of hours, I can safely say this is a good game. It's unoptimized, but honestly it's no less laggy than Cities Skylines 1 was on the machines I played it on back in the day. I'm sure patches will come out and speed things up, but until then I am contempt with playing at low settings. The game play is VERY addictive and easily sucks you in as your constantly trying to balance budget and demands while squeezing things into weird locations on your map. I personally love the new road mechanics, they're easily my favorite when compared to any other simulator or city building game. I'd love to see more transit options, including bikes (and bike sharing racks), elevated subway stations (ones that easily fit over the road much like in Chicago or New York), and plenty more vehicle options. Besides those, and the lag, good game.

Go in wanting to launch a rocket, leave with an understanding the complexities of orbital mechanics.

This game is very good, personally it's my favorite PC game of all time. I've spent hundreds of hours building rockets and testing them in space and stuff. When I bought the game, I had a vague understanding of space, although I was fascinated nonetheless. For a very long time, all I knew was how to press the space bar to activate staging on a rocket. Getting into orbit seemed like something I could never achieve. The learning curve of this game is very steep, and you are probably going to need to watch tutorials to pull off "basic" missions. Eventually, you'll get the hang of basics, such as gravity turns, orbital rendezvous, deltaV budgeting, and much more. Once you understand all these strange, bizarre things, you are going to have a lot of fun putting your knowledge to the test. And by that, I mean pushing your poor little green astronauts to the absolute extreme.

I've spent a substantial amount of time playing this game, and it's definitely one of my favorites. I enjoy being able to design a rail network in all sorts of different, custom ways. I love being able to create custom stations and make all sorts of interesting track layouts and junctions. A good chunk of my enjoyment also comes from Workshop mods, with tons of assets that spruce up the game, from trains and stations, bridge and tunnel types, and more. My only major issues with the game are town populations, which do not appear to represent the towns themselves (I find it very unlikely that only 14 or so people live in a high rise), and a slight issue with performance. As the game progresses, the game gets a tad laggier, as expected. This is probably an issue with the capabilities of my computer, but it does make it a bit more cumbersome to play late games. My final complain is with mod selection for new games, as unlike the original Transport Fever, you have to re-select each and every mod whenever you begin a new save. This is also cumbersome, and takes awhile. Regardless, if you enjoy transportation simulation games and like building your own networks, you will enjoy this game, just as I have.

Early Access Review
This game is very well put together. It's fun to play alone or cooperatively with friends. As a transit enthusiast, I've enjoyed building my own rail/tram lines in various cities the way I want with few limits (other than money, if I were playing with it enabled). There's a lot of potential, but what exists so far is pretty good.

This is the best and easiest screen recording I have used. It would be cool if there was also a free video editor, too.

I enjoyed this game very much. In fact, next time I go to a store with Steam cards, I will buy one and get the full version.

Everytime I get on, it crashes. Oh well. But should I get the full version?
