The quality of the game is below that of hobby projects. Not a single aspect of the game works as intended.

The fact that speed limits aren't even visible in anyway during scenarios is a real testament to the QA/testing and care that went into this game. It is impossible to miss these blatant flaws littered throughout all maps.

Furthermore, some trains have a safety system that you cannot interact with using a controller (and there isn't a keybind for it, nor ANY indication as to acknowledge the warning) and is completely redundant to the already existing safety system. So, you are left with having to press 2 buttons to acknowledge the warning, and if you're on a controller, that means you will have to reach for your keyboard every time.

Content-wise, it is laughable. Even worse is that the under-lying game don't hold up for user-made scenarios either.

Total joke.

Beautiful environment, some exploration, but lack of depth overall.

As a student project, it holds up pretty well - you can get 2 hours of gameplay out of it.

Suggestions for improvement would be;
Make it clearer that there is a drift button.
Fix the audio bugs related to engine RPM's.
Make future checkpoints visible so it's clearer where to go after the current checkpoint.
Add more exploration, the snowmen were a fun addition - more of that, but less on the path of time trials.
More time trials - especially longer ones, there were just a handful that took longer than a minute to complete.
Add a button to restart from checkpoint, in case you get stuck.
Add a button to restart time trials from the beginning.
Add a map in-game, if it exists, make it easier to find...
Make it easier to find or start specific time trials, either by setting it as marked on the compass, or allow us to start it from anywhere.

All in all, it was good.

Decent foundation
Try it! Despite that it might appear difficult, it took me roughly an hour to familiarize myself with the alphabet, and then tested my skills in the time trials - that's where the game kinda ends...

So, the whole submarine thing was atmospheric, but is completely under-utilized as it is completely forgotten about once you begin interacting with the monitor - which is the core gameplay. It honestly feels just slapped on as of right now in terms of content, but it is actually appreciated that the game was not only just the monitor.

Onto the monitor; it is intuitive, gives a partitioned tutorial to not get overwhelmed, offers the opportunity to practice and also test your skills against the clock. Not only that, but the tutorial really tests your memory by not moving on to the next character immediately. Instead, it moves back and forth, and if you make mistakes, it will give you a hint the next time around.

Clearly, the tutorial set the bar a bit too high for the game's own good, as the remaining game is not anywhere near this level of polish. There is only 1 sentence to translate/transmit, so it's more of a memory game than a game relying on your skills. Thus, this is definitely the next area to improve upon (I am aware the game just released), as it is currently very disappointing to not be able to properly test your skills the tutorial so well helped build up...

Time trial aside, the setting (the submarine) is perfect for extending the gameplay. A story mode, a career mode? That might be outside the scope, but something simple as; "You get handed messages [war-related for increased immersion?] to transmit and you also receive transmissions to translate and forward to your superiors". Simply put; something that is more dynamic (random messages) or rich (well-crafted series of transmissions) that not only uses your skills, but also manages to compell the player to get immersed and engage with this somewhat niche topic of Morse code.

So, by all means, try it. It may not last you very long, but it has just recently been released - for free!

Decent, but could've done better!
Honestly, it is lacking content. It is a fair trade when it is on sale.

The unique calls are well-made (there's plenty of spelling errors in the subtitles), but they quickly repeat. If they had random outcomes it would be forgivable, but once you've played enough you will now exactly how the conversation will end, so I disabled "answering calls" as often as I could. Yes, the core concept (which I like) is seriously lacking.

The game isn't short of bugs, there's odd pathing (to be expected with auto-generated maps), but vehicles can be stuck sometimes. On expert difficulty (which I primary played at), the game would suddenly throw upwards to 12 calls in a span of seconds. There's definitely a need for some type of check for how many calls can be created per minute. The unpredicableness is the fun of it, but not at that extreme.

Other issues are;
* Not being able to view details of a incident if you are in a active call.
* Not seeing the age of an incident (either mouse-over each one, or check in the bottom-right list and select it). What should have been done is adding a incident-number on the map-icon to make this easier.
* The speed stats on vehicles are incorrect, when viewing vehicles in the store they have a certain speed, once you purchase one and hover over one of them, they display another speed.

There isn't much replayability, as for each successful day, you build up a bigger fleet, but the difficult seems almost unaffected - to the point of getting boring before it ramps up in difficulty. Perhaps it should be possible to start a playthrough with many already complete days? Another thing is the equipment, seeing that each personel-type has 2 equipment slots, it gave the false impression that I could unlock equipment for these... but in reality it is just the police officers that has that progression to them. There are some rarer incidents that requires more resources than usual, making it more interesting, but there should have been more of these. The repetitive calls could've been made with different outcomes, and instead of heavily scripted dialogue, they could have been more branching with a more quanititive approach.

All in all, it was decent for 14 hours of gameplay, but not at full price. I do not have any of the DLC, perhaps they solve some of the issues I mentioned, or introduces new ones?

A mobile game migrated to PC. Plays like one of the many Facebook games from back in the day.

None of the achievements work, and the discussion forum is completely locked for discussion, suggestions and feedback.

Can't recommend...

Nah, the gameplay is awful - so much so, only 1 of 4 attacks works, none of the enemies present any sort of challenge, there is nothing but a collection loop. There is no comedic value either.
