It's Snake Eater on PC. Delta'll probably be a smoother, more streamlined experience, but this is the greatest way to experience Subsistence.

A game so good I lie awake at night thinking about the loose ends it left untied.

This game is not worth $14 CAD.

It's clunky, buggy, and downright annoying to play.
The AI is terrible, and will shoot you through walls even after you cut the power.
The movement is bad.
The gunplay is awful.
The dog mechanics feel tacked on without any amount of care.
The maps are bland and, quite frankly, terrible to play.

Just get R6 Vegas 2, SWAT 4, or even Ground Branch.

In it's current state, it's just too odd and janky for me to personally enjoy, I'm sure others will like it far more.

This game changed me as a person.
I don't think I'll ever feel whole again after completing ARTIFACT.
It just leaves me wanting more, but knowing even less than I did.

I cannot recommend this game enough to anyone who likes the old RE or Silent Hill games. It's a great experience on both Steam Deck and PC.

This is the kind of game where dying makes you laugh your ass off, because it's usually your own fault.
