RimWorld

What is it?

RimWorld is a 2D top-down colony simulator/resource managament strategy where you control your colonists and well...make a colony :D, with the ultimate goal of escaping your planet.
Big Features and Selling Points.
-Good performance on low-end machines (i5 3230 and 730M lol)
-Every playthrough is different due to the fact that everything is randomized, as in: The World is completely random with the possibility of setting a seed, all colonists are completely random (Names, Skills, Injuries and relationships with other colonists), you can pick any of the 9001 bamboozilion tiles avaiable on the world and start your colony there (tiles can have different biomes, temperatures, texture and land, resources and even structures as of A17)
-Long and if you want to infinite game-length (because you don't have to win, you can stay and survive forever.)
-Low and easy difficulties for filthy casuals up to INSANE DIFFICULTIES FOR PEOPLE WHO THINK MR.TORGUE IS LAME (BL2 reference)
-You can make the base of your dreams which can also be self-sustainable, or make a hell on your planet.
-You can put two cannibals together in a room and watch which one kills the other first (what else do you want lol)

Positives:
-Workshop integration allows for hundreds of mods to be installed and played with (I recommend Ultimate Survial Mod, EDB Prepare Carefully, Mending, Psychology and therapy, Stuff that just make the game better lol)
-You can survive on a Ice Sheet or burn in a dessert burning at 70-120 celsius.
-Infinite replayability makes this game worth the price
-The game seems to get constant updates and is generally feature rich

Negatives
-In the EULA (Yes I read it, I know I'm weird) the dev states that he can stop developing the game at any time for any reason which is quite a jerk move *No longer applicable, game is finished*
-You will easily lose yourself while playing this resulting in no sleep at all (I once checked the time and realized I played for 13 hours straight wtf but I guess that's kinda personal)

Neutral rant
-this game kinda relies on mods but considering it has great support of them then it's fine. *Not applicable, game is perfect even without them now*
-It is quite expensive for just 50MB of content lol *200MB of content lol*
-I have a "Life" so I don't have enough time to play too much of it. *I dont*

Rating?
Graphics: 10/10 -they are pixel art, but damn are they the good, all you need and more
Performance: 9/10 -if you have a massive colony IT WILL DESTROY YOUR CPU (not really but it will take a lot of it) *New versions actually run better and support 64bit*
Gameplay: 9/10 -Absolutely amazing, but occasionally impossible
Overall: 95% (Subject to change this game is in early access)

Buy or not to buy?
BBBBBBBBUUUUUUUUYYYYYYY!!!! *Applies doubly now that the game is finished*

And yes, I edited this review just to get the badge from the Game Awards, though that doesnt change the fact that the game improved massively (asterisks are new comments)
