Heyo Boys and Girls, do you like RPGs? Do you like games? Do you like games that are gonna shock you by how good and emotional the story is? Do you like games that have a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ well written characters? Do you like games that are practically the videogame version of D&D?
Then I think you should go and buy Divinity: Original Sin II right now! Takes place in Rivellon, and you get to play either 6 preset characters, or make your own from 3 unique races, followed by an undead version of each of these, each with their own benefits and disadvantages! To add onto that, the "class" system is EXTREMELY versatile! You get a set of attributes that affect your gameplay, such as Strength, Finesse, Constitution, along with many others, along with Abilities, which can be sorted into Skills, which can be used to unlock new spells or stat boosts, Defence, or Weapons, and then every couple of levels (along with right at start during Character Creation) you unlock a Civil Ability which can have a variety of effects!
Along with that, different weapons fit different circumstances! Daggers can backstab, two handed weapons can do more damage and have more range, shields boost your defence, staffs can be used at melee, or can shoot out an elemental projectile. There's a lot of options for entering combat! Personally, I prefer daggers, so I can get in that backstab damage.
Me and a friend just finished our playthrough, and are already so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ disappointed there isn't even more story to it, taking over 2 weeks, and about 100 hours, even with mods to give us a few extra bits, which were probably stronger than stuff we'd have normally (Classes and ♥♥♥♥ for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles), but even so the story had me so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ engulfed that I wanted to prevent anything bad happening to the best of my ability!
You can have a party of up to 4, which can you either be you or 3 NPCs, or 3 other players, or any other way you'd prefer, like how me and him played with a companion each.
Speaking of, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, do you fall for the companions! Their individual stories were just as enticing as the main story itself, and a lot of the companions you can't help but adore! Of whom you can decide on what sort of class you want them to be!
Not even mentioning the range of choices you're given throughout the game which can heavily impact how the story plays out, I expect I've already made it clear how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great this game really was, and I'm expecting it's going to hold a place in my heart for the rest of my days.
If you liked most of what I told you, then please; buy Divinity! I promise you that it is most definitely worth it
