Couldn't find a real difference. I suggest you use this for a laptop that would be considered "dated".

Hello Chicken Master,

Sorry to hear about your laptop overheating. Unfortunately, CPUCores is not meant as a solution to hardware heating issues, or really any hardware-specific issues at all.

Instead, CPUCores functions by adjusting CPU resource consumption by non-game processes.

Essentially, if your CPU is maxed, it will stay maxed, however, with CPUCores, your game will have a higher share of that max CPU usage.

I hope you feel ☺☺POSITIVE☺☺ enough to take that into account for your review.

Happy gaming and I wish you well :)

My CPU processes games pretty harshly. Maybe I need a new processor.

Either way, I appreciate the assistance, and I will look further into it to optimize my games.

My CPU consists of a Intel Core i7-8750H CPU
2.20GHz, 2208 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)

(My current processor)

any 3rd party program that claims to boost your PC first it needs resources from your PC to run and work "magic" it basicly shooting yourself in the foot, boost yourself and optimize OS by yourself!
