I am a 69-year old nerdgin, probably one of the oldest people playing FINALS.
I am a single father to my son (who was adopted, as I am a nerdgin), who is now 25. My son recently started playing FINALS.
In less than a week, he had already played for over 420 hours.

This was terrible for me because it was already hard enough for me to spend time with my son because he was always out with his friends or watching reality TV rotting his brain. So I decided to make a Steam account to play with my son. I started playing, but this was my first time playing a video game since the 1800's, so I was quite lost. I asked my son for help, and together we spent some hours playing FINALS.

I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my son since my body pillow had been unwashed for 42 years and finally needed to be binned due to becoming a biohazard. Playing video games reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought me and my son closer again, and now we actually spend time together outside the house as well.

Very fun co-op game that is even better than the original. Challenging if you want it to be, absolute clownfest and funny ass team kills are a bonus. Devs and community were listened to by SONY when we disputed having to link a PSN to keep playing on PC. I will continue to support Arrowhead for how they are handling the roadmap for HD2 going forward.

Yeah the game is okay i guess.

This is worse than having a game just be dead on arrival... nup, lets take it away from everyone who really enjoyed playing it.

Amazon Games randomly banned me from this game for "botting". I played this game for 170 hours at launch and quit in April 2022 because it was boring. Uninstalled it and haven't touched the game for the past 9 months. Now they've decided to ban me for botting in January 2023? What the ****??? Utterly incompetent and unjustified.

Predatory microtransactions, even more pay-2-win than the original that this was supposedly meant to "fix". Avoid at all costs. The gameplay is unique though - mixing card deck building with tactical RPG, that's the only thing going for it.

The PVE/storyline is harmless fun for a bit, the dialogue is funny as per AdventureQuest style. When they added PVP it gave the game a bit more replayability. Don't expect super deep combat though in PVE, even raids, it's mainly mashing buttons on cooldown. Hunting for cosmetics and doing seasonal events are a good way to fill out the end-game. Very social aspect because it's playerbase is quite small but you can find people to party up with.
