Its crazy, you'd think if you bought a game, it would work but NOPE. Matchmaking is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and can't even play singleplayer. Who the hell thought that removing solo games was a good idea?

Left 4 Dead 2 is one of Valve's best games and I believe you should get it if you don't have it already.

Positives:

+Lots of different game modes to chose from. (Standard campaign, survival, versus, realism...)
+Shooting feels good especially against common infected.
+Playing with friends is a blast.
+The AI director gives the game massive replay value.
+Workshop also gives you the possibility to play campaigns made by the community or to simply allow you play with a bunch of anime women.
+You can also enjoy this game on single player. Be warned that the bots will sometimes act dumb and not revive you.
+More variation to campaign finales than in Left 4 Dead 1.
+Features meme able characters.
+Game runs well on weaker hardware.

Negatives:

-Playing with randoms can be quite fun, but there are usually people who just join to troll. Includes kicking, killing teammates, using all the utility items without letting anybody else use them, and so on.
-The game can get repetitive with how the campaigns play since all the maps are pretty much get from point A to B.
-The survivor bots can ruin your run.

Total War is one of my favorite RTS franchises out there. You get to play as different empires and civilizations akin to a 4x (Civilization Series) game with the difference being that Total War games focus more on the domination aspect. In my opinion, all the games I've played in this series lives up to the satisfying feeling of taking over worlds from the Napoleonic wars to the Sengoku Jidai.
One game which I wanted to play was Rome Total War but there were some technical issues that I have faced which prevented me from experiencing it. To my surprise, CA announced Rome Remastered which peeked my interest given that I could finally play it.
So I come to this game as a new player, and for what it is, its good. This is the heart of OG Total War and I quite enjoyed my time conquering many parts of Europe. The game has problems however. Ive experienced the game locking up on the campaign map forcing me to close it. The path finding is questionable especially in sieges where units will usually take the longest routes to get to a point in the settlement. The AI on the campaign map will just leave bunch of units hanging around the last settlement just watching while not being able to engage because they are not in the range of the settlement.

In conclusion, yes, I do recommend this game at the end of the day simply because of how fun it is to play, But you have to know that there are still faults which haven't been fixed weirdly enough. Anyways as long as you understand what to expect, it should be a great time.

Very solid looter-shooter which i would recommend to anyone with an obsession with guns and loot.

Positives:

+The game features a much more engaging story than the previous one.
+Hundreds of different guns, shields, class mods, cosmetics, and grenades to loot.
+Fantastic replay value due to the characters and the builds that come with them.
+The DLCs are great and extends the life of the game more.
+Music is fine as ♥♥♥♥.
+Graphics are nice.
Negatives:

-To some extent the comedy sometimes doesn't stick well.
-Loot can be taken from players in coop. (I don't really mind it but lots of people do)

I would highly recommend F.E.A.R to anyone wanting to play an fps game.

Positives:
+Game uses a bullet time mechanic allowing you to perform some really satisfying kills.
+Features some really great A.I that are smart enough to become very deadly in combat. They are also very vocal making combat more engaging.
+Level design is very good, not just allowing you but also the A.I to take routes to flank each other.
+Particle effects and destruction leave rooms with big bullet holes and smoke everywhere.
+Music is good in combat and in the more ambient parts of the game.
+The lighting.
+The sounds.
+Comes with a DLC (Extraction point) which some consider better than the original game.
Negatives:
-Some textures can look outdated.
-Environments can be very repetitive since you will be mostly traveling indoors.
-For some reason you cant buy the game separately from the two other games which i find really weird.
