Outer wilds is a beautiful game, and most people will refuse to elaborate in worry of spoiling you. This is a reasonable fear, as I got spoiled on one mechanic of the DLC and that ruined it for me. I lost all the experience and joy of finding it myself.
What I can say is that this game is based off of time. As time progresses, things change, and often you have to wait for said things before some puzzles can be done, or some of the puzzles can only be done earlier on.
Also, if you get the game, use your damn signalscope. It is one of your most useful tools. Don't know what to do? Pick a signal and follow it! See something far away? Zoom in!
