Redoing the review, but aside from all other BRs I've played. Super Animal Royale (or SAR) is more forgiving then any other BRs, like Apex Legends, Fortnite, PUBG: Lite, etc.

Super Animal Royale! What is it?

Super Animal Royale, is a battle royale in a top-down "2d," perspective with 64 cute lil' animals fighting for their furvival!
mind the animal puns, there is a lot of puns in this game, including in their Discord server.
Is it actually 2D or is it 3D? Probably both.

The game is one of those "easy to learn, hard to master" as the skill in the game can really vary on:
- The server you are playing on (EU, NA, AS, SA);
- The players you are playing against;
- Your reaction time (& aim);
- Movement;
...and more.

The community is also a blast to be on, including their Discord server[discord.gg] as there are plenty helpful and cheerful people within SAR server. They're always happy to either help you out, or play with them, no matter their skill level in SAR.

The game, itself, what content does it hold?

The game has four modes, but only one is the main mode, others are on rotation.
Main one is obviously: Battle Royale, where you fight for top of the food chain.
Either alone (solo), with a partner (duo), or a whole squad.

Secondary modes are on rotation, which include:
- The Bwoking Dead (TBD);
- S.A.W vs Rebellion (SvR);
- Mystery Mode (Though, that one hasn't come that very often, even if it did, it was hated).

The average match in the game lasts about 5 to 8 minutes, since the map in the game isn't very large and the animals you are fighting against are low (64 in BR and Mystery Mode; 24v24 in SvR; 40 in TBD).

Knowing it's BR, there is also an battle pass--
> Hmm? What? It's not battle pass? Oh right, my bad.

Animal Passes! (Not Battle Pass)

The Animal Pass are more unique then battle passes in most BR games. They don't expire. Yes, you can also do previous season animal passes that have ended, even if you are new to the game.

They do cost like any other BR battle passes, $9,99 (1000 S.A.W Tickets) to start one.
Or... if you are lucky enough to grab starter pack, (which Pixile does every new season in SAR) buy the Animal Pass for the discounted price of 550 S.A.W Tickets during the week that the Animal Pass came out.

It is also possible to do two (yes, you heard me right, two!) animal passes at the same time!
You also don't need to worry about XP split on the animal passes, they receive the same amount.

Cosmetics!

Just like in any other BR games, cosmetics don't provide any competitive advantage. This includes:
- Weapon skins;
- Custom Melee;
- Every outfit;
- Your selected preferred animal;
- Emotes;
- Minimals (or pets).
- Being in rebellion or S.A.W.

Cosmetics can be obtained by:
- Cackling Carl's Cart (with Carl Coins (obtained from playing a match); By no means, I am referring to myself. It's an actual in-game character.
- S.A.W. Shop, as premium cosmetics (with S.A.W Tickets);
- Level-up Pool Drops after the match. (Check what is possible to obtain in here. [animalroyale.fandom.com])
- From the Animal Pass (free or not);
- Starter Packs;
- Super Edition (one-time purchase, it's not a monthly thing);
- Milestones.

It has lore and story?!?!

Just like with Fortnite, yes, it has lore and story behind it. However, it is hard to crack and some people in the SAR Discord server are... discussing it.
I barely know anything of it, since I am mostly there for the gameplay and fun!
banan... banan...

Experiences I've encountered during my playtime in SAR

It'll be a list of experience, so don't expect much from my experiences.

- Teamers, they- er, ruin fun (it is against the rules);
- Server desync, but it's normal when playing off region;
- Server lag in desired region, some data centers tend to die during match and cause huge lag;
- Bullets don't tag/damage the enemy right before you get killed (might be my reaction time, but oh well);
- Making new friends, yes, really. I've made friends over SAR and in their Discord server, they're actually lovely people over the internet;
- Teammates not communicating, err, unless you are in Discord/Skype call, teammates over the internet will not communicate with you.
(who even uses Skype...?)

Conclusion

Super Animal Royale is a definitely a must-try battle royale, also considering the fact the game is free.
It's also one of those less stressful ones, considering the average match lasts about 7 minutes.

It has loads of content planned in the future, the devs make occasional streams in their Twitch Channel, they put out teasers, they also communicate with members in Discord, in Twitter, in Twitch.

tl;dr - devs listen, game cute, fun and not very stressful, praise banan.
