Imagine spending 10 dollars just so your virtual character can do laundry.

Whatever insane event this game throws at you, you will love every second of it. Rimworld is a great personal story driven game where the player assumes control over a group of crashed colonists from every walk of life. They will fight, get sick, fall in love, build a home, and die. The rimworld is an unforgiving place and whether it be space pirates, killer robots, or a pack of man-hunting rabbits, they will be trying to kill you. Everything wants you dead. The weather, the people, and the animals. But this only makes the game much more satisfying when you manage to build a thriving colony from scratch. There are many ways to approach this game which makes replayability easy and exciting. It's hard to find the game dull with its story AI. Which is customizable depending on your play style. I highly recommend this game.

Honestly one of the most gritty and beautiful games I've ever played. Players take the role of a group of survivors trapped within a besieged city that was not unlike your own. Throughout the game, players are given thought provoking choices that really examine the morality of a normal civilian during wartime. You are not a soldier, but a civilian doing whatever they can to survive. No matter your choices, they will have consequences. Will you die a saint, or will you just succumb to the level of those who started the war?

Beautiful survival game where every choice matters. If you make a mistake, the game will be sure to let you know.

Miscreated is similar to most other survival games but manages to be one of the more immersive ones. The weather, level design, and mobs, all give off a unique atmosphere that supports the gameplay Miscreated strives for. The enviroments in the map look amazing. While it has similar mechanics to most other survival games: Hunger, Thirst, Temperature, it also includes some new things. Rad storms and mini-bosses, as well as a more in-depth medical system, provide a nice immersion factor to the post apocalyptic island you now call home. But being similar to other survival games isn't necessarily bad thing, because Miscreated shines in making sure all it's mechanics feel immersive and easy to learn. Even standard gunplay in Miscreated does very well. Every hit with a rifle feels strong, and not like a pellet gun like in other survival games.

Features: Crafting, Basebuilding, Vehicles, Airdrops, Mini-bosses, Dynamic weather, unconsciousness system.

It's like a crappier version of terraria. But in space. Its got some nice features though. But it generally has less content than terraria.

The standard survival mode stands well on its own with its hardcore gameplay and beautiful level design but the story mode pales in comparison. In the story mode, the player is forced to complete a large amount of quests, the majority being fetch quests. I personally couldn't make it through the second episode. The player is given the task of exploring the site of a crashed airliner. The player then has to carry a NPC across the level to complete the quest. The next quest is to retrieve 3 more crash survivors. While carrying the survivors, the player slowly hobbles towards their objective, stopping frequently to ward off predators or to keep warm. I loathe gameplay that requires me to continuously hold the "w" key. I understand that this is the case for most survival games and it would be fine if the destinations between walking would be more immersive or interesting. Walking to get to a mission is okay, but walking as the mission is boring. I imagined much more from the story mode the dev team has spent years developing. If you don't care for the story mode, the survival mode will certainly satisfy the survivalist in you.
